Awesome new author for me

This is a fast paced book that I really enjoyed. Some background in how Dain and Olivia met would have been better. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Narration was great...

FANTASTIC!!!!

Romantic suspense is my favorite and this nugget pushes all my buttons! Hot, alpha male. Strong, capable woman. Thrilling story line. Ella Sheridan has given me the best novella I have listened to in a long time! Dain and Livie have been married for 10 years. Their love is strong and even now, they can't get enough of each other. When Olivia is taken hostage at her office, Dain does what he has to. Using his unique set of skills, this security specialist kicks into action. But will he get to her before the danger closes in? I could not stop listening. The chemistry between Dain and Livie is off the charts and I only wanted their happiness to continue! Livie is amazing! I love her,not only because she is smart, but her instincts and bravery make her a heroine to admire. And Dain, There is nothing better than a man who will do anything for his woman. His strength, calmness and ability to do what needs to be done just won my heart. This is only book one and I cannot wait to see what Sheridan has in store for me next.

Stella Hunter and Evan Parker give an incredible performance. Hunter is one of my favorites, and her portrayal of Livie is spot on. Strength, courage, passion, it's all there and her voice just brings out every emotion that she is feeling. Even scared, you could feel her love for Dain, her reason for carrying on in the inflections of her voice. Parker brings the alpha voice to Dain, and he gives that air of protectiveness as well as danger. You know he is dangerous and can hear it in his voice, but the tenderness he gives with Livie is heart melting. A fantastic pairing and wonderful listen.

Firstly, I have to admit, I have read the story before, but as soon as I saw it was available on audible, I had to listen. Stella Hunter and Evan Parker truly brought Dain and Olivia (Livie) to life. There voices certainly added more to an already amazing story.

I want more from this fabulous author. This story is everything I thought it would be and more. Ella Sheridan you have once again, taken my breathe away with this hot romance suspense book. This book is all about love, faith and hope.

Ella Sheridan delivers another smoking hot, alpha that will have you in puddles and a beautiful, strong heroine, who will take your breath away. This story revolves around Dain and Livie, who are husband and wife. Livie goes into work, to find the office has been taken over by people wanting money. When Dain finds out Livie is in trouble, he will stop at nothing or anyone to save his wife. No one will take his Livie away from him.

Once you start, you certainly won’t be able to put it down and you won’t be sorry.

Love, romance, and action packed. Listen! It was short for the first book, but it was really really good! Can’t wait to listen to the next books!

Great start to series!

I love the suspense that Ella brings in her books. Olivia and Dain’s story was a short novella and I enjoyed it a lot. Olivia is held hostage at her place of business and Dain will do whatever it takes to save her. I love how protective he is of his wife and love Olivia’s strength.
Evan Parker and Stella Hunter were great as Dain & Olivia, they portrayed their love and emotions perfectly throughout this book. A perfect start to the Southern Night series.
