Publisher's summary

Three stories! These lesbian erotica short stories retell classic fairy tales, each with a new twist from what you've seen before.

"A Fairly Odd Mermaid Tale"

You've heard the story of a little mermaid, but this is one mermaid tale you haven't yet experienced.

Meet Helen, a pretty blonde mermaid curious to see the surface world. Then, meet Giselle, her mysterious sea witch friend who only wants what's best for her.

But when Helen gets her wish to see the surface world, can Giselle stifle the hidden feelings she has for her best friend so that Helen can have her happily ever after?

A fairly odd mermaid tale will change what you think about fairy tales, love, and what it truly means to have a happily ever after!

"The Genie and Her Princess"

This isn't your parent's Arabian tale.

When a Genie is summoned from the lamp to grant three wishes, she didn't realize her Master would be so kind and beautiful. But, a dark and mysterious figure lurks in the shadows. Will this dark figure get the lamp before the third wish is up? What will the princess wish for? And is there anyway to save the genie from a life of solitude?

Find out in "The Genie and Her Princess"!

"The Glass Slipper and the Step Sister"

This isn't your grandparent's Cinderella.

In this retelling of the classic fairy tale, Cinderella still has a fairy godmother, a wicked stepmother and a prince, but she also has a red haired step sister named Alexandra.

However, during a masked dance, Alexandra falls fast and hard for the masked maiden. What will she do when she finds out that the woman she danced with is her stepsister?

"The Glass Slipper and the Step Sister" is a lesbian erotica short story that gives a twist to the classic fairy tale.

What will Cinderella get for her happy ending?

Sapphic Romance Short Stories

Sapphic Romance Short Stories,

This book bundle includes three super-short sapphic romances inspired by fairy tales, running between just over a half hour to one and one-half hours. The heat level varies from explicit to tame.

Here’s my review of two of them:

Review of The Genie and Her Princess: Very Short Sapphic “Erotica”
This audiobook barely weighs in at 45 minutes, so this is a super-quick listen. Because it is a short story, it doesn’t have much room for character development or plot. However, I thought the author structured the story well. As it is based on the “genie and the lamp” story, it is structured around what happens for a particular young princess's three wishes. The genie and the princess develop a rapport quickly…and soon more than that. They decide they would like nothing more than to stay together, but the genie realm has some pretty tough rules. This story has a villain, a spurned potential male suitor, and a surprising twist for how the ladies get around the “wish” rules. This does include one graphic intimate scene between the genie and her princess, but it didn't feel organic. From how these women treated each other earlier in the book, the intimate scene seemed out of character. My guess is that it was just tacked on to sell a story in a very particular but popular erotica/romance subgenre. I wasn't wild about the British narrator, as her accent sounded a little too lowbrow. I prefer a posher British accent. If you like short sapphic romances, you may enjoy this one.

Review of A Fairly Odd Mermaid Tale: Not Much There There
This is a super short sapphic retelling of The Little Mermaid story, only a little over a half hour in audiobook format. As you might imagine, with such a short story, there's little room for plot or character development. The mermaid is determined to live her life more freely, but things are not as simple as she believes they will be. While a gentleman suitor is in the picture briefly, that relationship naturally pales compared to the one between the ladies. The book doesn't get steamy at all, unlike another book in this series. Frankly, this book left little impression on me. I listened to it last night, and I'm actually having trouble recalling the details of it to share in this review. While I love the idea of retelling classic fairy tales from a sapphic perspective, the ones I've listened to by this author so far are too short to really have any meat—or even much interest—to the story.

Enjoyable take of the classics

Disclaimer: This audiobook was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. A very enjoyable spin on the classic tales, I like the setups of each story, the characters are cute and overall an enjoyable listen. The first story was really adorable. Personally, I did not quite enjoy the love making scenes as much as the rest of the story, as the characters seems to have lost their identities during the scenes. Overall still a cute book, I'm glad to have gave it a try. Narration by Ashleigh Binder was lovely, it was soothing to listen to, like a bed time story, and she brought out the emotions of each character wonderfully.
