Publisher's summary

What are you supposed to do when your best friend's little sister—a classic good girl—asks you to help her go bad?

You should say no.

You shouldn't pretend to date her so she can piss off her parents.

You definitely shouldn't agree to take her virginity and show her all the experiences she's been missing out on.

And you really shouldn't keep it a secret from her brother, the one who's your best friend and business partner.

But I don't always make the best choices. In fact, I can be kind of a dick sometimes.

And I know if I don't do it, someone else will . . . and I can't have that. If anything, it means I get to be the good guy for once.

I just wasn't prepared for how gifted this good girl would be at going bad.

4.5 stars for The Good Girl!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
💣💣💣

MCs: Sydney Novak and Preston Lowe
1st Person Dual POV

• best friend’s sister
• teach me / spicy lessons
• bad boy x good girl
• fake dating ish

Look, I’ll be honest I wasn’t that big of a Preston fan from earlier books, but him and Sydney together????? DELICIOUS 😋 Sydney is the epitome of a good girl, always doing exactly what her parents want, perfect grades, etc. When shes finally had enough, her and Preston decide to pretend to date while he gives Sydney lessons in being a bad girl 🤭 I really loved these two together; Sydney was able to come into her own and learn to stand up for herself, and Preston finally cared about someone other than himself and man did he really give it his all. The spice was immaculate, SO HOT, and I highly recommend this book and/or series if you are looking for some quality spice to get you through the day 🔥 I also really appreciated the full circle moment for Preston with Daddy Lowe + Cassidy 🥲

Decent listen

I think the voice actors did a wonderful job with the read. The ending became too predictable for me to be wowed. I liked the way it took off and it was something I enjoyed, but a twist at the end would have been good, too.

Good story

Nikki Sloane is one of my favorite authors so I did enjoy the book a lot. It’s not as raunchy or taboo as the others in this series but I enjoyed getting Preston’s story. Overall worth the read but not my favorite of the series.

The charters are so well written.

Enjoyed the characters and how they grew up in the story and came together in the end.

I am in no way surprised that this is my favorite!

I LOVED this so much! I am in no way surprised that this is my favorite out of the 4 I have read. Nothing makes me crazier than the good girl kink. Bring a bucket and a mop... I am a puddle.

I hated Preston in The Doctor, but he really gets his redemption arc in this one. His relationship with his dad and Cassidy has really developed over time. I loved at the end when <spoiler> Preston realizes that the reason Greg and Cassidy won't get married is because they "know" he won't approve. He immediately gives his blessing, and I was so happy for them! It just shows his growth.

I really loved Cassidy. I always wanted to be a chef when I was her age, so I loved reading about a character with that same dream.

I enjoyed the overall storyline of this one. Cassidy has done everything her parents have asked of her her entire life. They are also very strict. Like keep the door wide open, and 11pm curfew strict. This girl is 20 BTW. She is a GOOD GIRL hence the title. So when her parents break a promise to her, she wants to rebel. Enter Preston, her long-time crush, who has no problem helping her learn how to be "bad." The only problem is that she is his best friend and business partner's baby sister, and he has already been told to stay away.

I love the chemistry between these two! Truly enjoyed the development of their relationship. This is not my favorite, "he teaches her" trope, but it was still enjoyable. I may be biased on my love for this one because there were plenty of "good girls" to go around, even when she was being bad and I lived for it.

<spoiler>There is a third act break-up. However, I really enjoyed how Preston repairs his relationship with Collin but also basically tells him to grow up and stop asking him to choose between his friend and his love. The grand gesture he puts together with the help of his friends, I adored! He knows her dream is to be a personal chef, and with help, he is able to give her a chance at her dream! He also invites her parents and shoves in their face how wonderful she is, so they can't ignore it!

The spice was excellent in this one like all of the others from the series! The dirty talk... good heavens.

This was the first time I listened to a book narrated by Mollie Stark or Carson Beck. They did a fantastic job!

I had high hopes but...

Great series for someone new to spicy romance who are looking for a little more of the spice with a happy ever after but if you are leaning toward the dark/ taboo side of romance then skip all but book 3. I had high hopes on this one after a raving review with 5 starts across the board but whoever gave that review must be new to spicy books because this was not 5 star spicy.
I'm only halfway through and I seriously doubt anything could happen that will change this review because it is so childish and superficial. This one came out way after the 4 other books in this series and I am assuming it was because the fans were asking for Preston's story. Painted in such a bad light it's hard to see a redeeming Preston and this was not it for me.
