I can't wait for the next book. This book was too perfect! At first Raine was ticking me off with insecurities but the fact that Liam and Hammer can always pull her back in is always great. There were some parts that made my stomach turn and almost in tears. You are literally sitting on the edge hoping everything works out. The ending will truly leave you hanging but as they say Patience is a Virtue. Expect a lot of the things to come our the closet and many surprises to shock you. Great book!!!

I loved this book. The group as a whole learn some hard lessons when jealousy, lies and lack of communication is involved.

Cliffhanger. Book 3. Must be read in order. Book 2 is "The Young and the Submissive." Book 4 is "The Edge of Dominance."

Overall, a well-written, dramatic menage love story taking place within a group of friends in a BDSM sex club.

On the positive side, both the main and secondary characters are written as well-rounded individuals, and the storyline is a dramatic and suspenseful page-turner.

On the negative side: the interpersonal melodrama can get a bit grating; the BDSM play is mostly SSC and hot, but occasionally feels uncomfortably coercive - if you have related triggers, skip this book.

The sexy times are hot, hot, hot, with a MMF menage relationship with formal Dom/sub lifestyle, including public scenes, toys, bondage, etc.

The narration is excellent.
