If you grew up only ever exposed to a heterosexual, gender role binary, and are most likely caucasian, you may get something out of this. If so, great. No judgment. I do really hope this helps open people up to exploring more knowledge.

Could we at least update the language. Oriental? Really? You mean, Asian? Or, specifically a region?

And, is this mostly written to try to give American men an intro to something different when it comes to sex? The language of an older (experienced?) man to a virgin woman could use updating. Unless, the point is not to relay some basic info to a wider demographic of audience? That message really overshadowed the inward out work that tantra taps into.

This recording offers nothing but a very basic intro to an idea that sex is more than just something a man and a woman do for fun or surface level from a traditional monotheistic upbringing.

To summarize, tantra is a much more spiritual kind of looking at sexual pleasure and connection. It is the practice of self love with a meditative 'focus' on the pleasure in our bodies, how to be aware and influence it, and how that can relate to our partners. It is a practice in connecting on a spiritual level through our bodies and using our minds intentionally to listen and respond in that embodied space.

I found the book to paint in very broad primary color strokes with info that could be found on Wikipedia. Multiple times in a chapter there are plugs to continue your knowledge with a Tantra professional.
