Morpheus couldn’t be trusted. He was the son of Hypnos, the god responsible for aiding Demeter, killing witches, and stealing my little sister. Morpheus had the rest of them fooled with his smug grin, sharp cheekbones, and golden eyes glinting with sex and privilege, but I saw through his cocky smirk.

Hades thought Morpheus would keep me in line, prevent me from making thing worse for The Underworld in this war, but neither of them realized just how far I was wiling to go to save my sister.

The first hint of her fear scented the air. A piece of me crumpled at the knowledge that I was the cause of it. I wished to the depths of my soul that this could’ve been different. In another life, another rebirth, perhaps we might’ve stood a chance.

But life was cruel. And time had run out.

“I’m sorry,” I breathed, the soft words lost to her protests as I leaned forward and sank my teeth into her flesh.

I had a great time with this one! It dragged a little in the middle, but once it picked up, I was all in. The ending didn’t quite hit as hard as I hoped but overall, still super enjoyable. And honestly? The gore? Delicious. Nothing like a little bloodshed to warm my cold, chaotic heart. 🤣

As always, Brandon Bonavir was a treat. That voice? Smexy as ever. The man could narrate a grocery list and I’d still swoon. His Morpheus was spot-on, and he gave every character their own vibe. He’s just consistently good like that. ❤️

R.L. Hemm crushed it too. Her take on Lark was perfect! Her narration was sharp, vulnerable and just the right amount of unhinged to get me rooting for Lark. She really brought her to life. 💕

All in all, solid listen. Would recommend if you’re into dark vibes, great narration, and a little splash of carnage.

Hello to Morpheus too! 🥵
