Publisher's summary

Angelic fact number 100: Having wings doesn’t make one noble; it simply makes one fly.

Naya and Adam have nothing in common. Besides black wings. The same birthday. And fathers who are as close as brothers. But nothing else. Sweet, diligent Naya has always abided by the rules. Arrogant, uncivil Adam has made it his life’s mission to break each one. She is the beloved daughter of an archangel. He is the guilds’ resident bad boy...well, bad fletching.

When Naya thrusts herself into Adam’s life to request a place on his clandestine team of guardians, he turns her away. The last thing his unsanctioned squad needs is an archangel’s attention, and the last thing he needs is a bubbly, blonde distraction with a sinful voice and soulful eyes. Problem is, Naya suddenly, and inexplicably, becomes the only thing he wants.

Fans of steamy enemies to lovers will swoon for this trilogy finale.

I wish this series never had to end

I could cry because of how much I love these books and characters. The fact they aren’t real is heartbreaking. This was the perfect ending to our original love story. How Olivia thought this up, I have no idea. So well done. Also WONDERFUL narrators.

Fantastic ending for a wonderful trilogy!

The absolute perfect conclusion to the Angels of Elysium series! Adam and Naya get their own journey, but at the heart of it is Jared and Leigh, and it’s wonderful. Naya is sweet and sunshine, very much like Leigh was at the beginning of Feather, and Adam definitely has Jared’s edginess, but with his fierce protectiveness for those he cares about. The secret guardian angel story arc that carries this book is quite interesting, and there are two separate cases they are dealing with, making it even more interesting. And the dynamic between Naya and Adam is great - a bit angsty, but definitely slow burn and intense every time they’re near each other. Adam’s team is filled with interesting characters, adding some good banter and more fulfilling interactions, and we get glimpses into where Celeste and Asher are these days, which is also great to see.

Naya and Adam effect each other deeply, without knowing why, so the story is quite an emotional roller coaster in that regard. The soulmate/soulhalf aspect underlines the story, but isn’t really brought to the forefront until later in the book, so their relationship unfolds at a pace that feels pretty natural, and when their slow burn ignites, it’s scorching and raw. As everything from the past comes to light, and all the emotion of the events play out, it’s an incredibly satisfying and beautiful end to the series. The final chapters go on to provide even more closure across the entire series, and the epilogue was perfection. I loved every bit!

The narration is also perfect. The perfect voices to bring these wonderful characters even more to life. The voices have exactly the right sound, fitting these characters to an absolute tee. Every emotion is felt even deeper, and it just makes the entire book just that much better for it.

The Narrators Are AMAZING!

The accents, the languages, the emotion! 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to hear more from these two!

Amazing conclusion!

I put off reading this book for so long... I knew Olivia was going to rip my heart out again and I just wasn't ready for it. Boy am I glad I finally picked this up! Adam and Naya are so different from Jarod and Leigh but so alike at the same time. It was amazing to see little pieces of them peek through. And that ending! Gah!

I didn't want to see these characters go!

4.5/5 Stars!
I have been waiting on this couple's happily ever what feels like forever! I am so happy to see this story through. I'm so happy that these characters have a mixture of feelings from their 'old selves' present throughout this love story. I love seen the similarities and struggles we saw through the first story reaper. I think they stayed true to their characters, yet it was a completely different love story. I think the ending was so perfect and spot on. Adam deserved some time to shine, and Naya stayed true to her sweet self being happy for his success. I'm a little sad to see all these characters go.

in absolute tears

I hate saying goodbye to these characters and this world. This was such a great story with a very twisted HEA. Narration on all 3 books was amazing.

Oh heaven!!

Can I just say that Adam Gold’s voice is perfection!!! 10 stars!! I’ve always loved his voice and when I saw that he was a narrator, even better. His voice is very pleasant to listen to and the variety of tones he uses for each character is easy to distinguish. Holly Fielding voice is perfection for Naya.
I was captivated with their narration and the story is amazing. I loved listening to it and was sad when the audiobook was over. The story has twists and turns. Deceit, love, and so much more!! If you love angels, and a Romeo and Juliet retelling I recommend this series!!

Breathtaking!

I’m such a sucker for a good Fallen Angels story, and Olivia definitely didn’t disappoint! I loved every moment of Naya and Adam’s love story. The adventure, the tension, every twist and turn, and what would it all be without the perfect ending? This book, along with the whole series, was definitely a great way to start off a year of reading.
