It took me to the end of the book to like Flynn. He was arrogant and manipulative. Isobel was too needy and desperate at first. I lost some respect for her as a strong independent woman. I did like that she threw his number away, much to his dismay. lol. Flynn's texting at work undermined Isobel and her position. Not cool. His excuses were lame and just manipulative. Flynn didn't know how to compromise and share power with Isobel. Not attractive!! His comment "don't make me work so hard " had me seeing red. That implies to me that she wasn't worth the extra work/effort. The toy at work was unfair and again undermined her and shows a lack of respect for her. Time and place mister!! Kind of ignorant and callus of Flynn not to tell Isobel about his plan for a "distraction " before he did it!! I liked that Flynn finally grew up and put his baggage in the past where it belonged. Growth!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

I enjoyed the narrator, she does well with both female and male voices and I was able to follow her through the story.


I also enjoyed the story. this is definitely a NSFW book. a very steamy storyline. I think both characters were a little immature at times but in the end they both do a little growing up and find their way back to each other.
