If you are looking for a quick, fun listen, this book is for you. A collection of short stories, I loved each one. Each story gives you the alpha male who is going to make sure his woman stays in line. His object of protection is warm and encouraging. Even though there is the common thread of alphas and spanking, each story took place in a different era, giving you different feelings through the book. A western, a reincarnation, a second chance love, a surprising neighbor and a Portuguese farmer all have well developed characters,thought the stories are short. You can feel the push/pull between the characters, the women trying to understand why and accept their punishments and the men administering them. I especially loved the fourth story with Mike the neighbor. The banter and family dinner in this story was so fun and charming, it was really lovable.

The team of La Petite Mort and Ruby Rivers are perfect for these stories. I love their narrations of romance/erotica, their voices flowing together. Ruby portrays each woman with the strength and will needed in relationships like this and La Petite Mort has the both the warmth and discipline to make you feel care and protection these men give.

I really enjoyed this book made up of 5 short stories that are not related, but have strong characters and different time settings. La Petite Mort and Ruby Rivers did an excellent performance as I expected (I've listened to them before). I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at my request, at no charge by the the author, narrator, and or publisher

Audio version, 5 wonderful short spanking stories. I wish we could give half stars I'd have given this a 4 1/2 stars. I'd have liked the stories to be longer.
The narrators are wonderful and they bring the stories to life.
This audiobook was given to me for free at my request from the publisher or author or narrator and I provided this voluntary review.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Action-packed, Easy-to-read, Funny, Happily Ever After, Page-turner, Romantic, Wonderful characters.

5 great short stories and a steamy. As with the title, there is Spanking involved.

The performances by both La Petite Mort and Ruby Rivers was great.

Four lovely well written stories but note these are not sex stories but lovely romantic stories with some nice spanking and discipline. The last story was so moving and wonderful. Again some nice sound spankings but also a lovely story with an amazing ending. Just so moving and emotional. Bravo as well to the dual narrators who brought all the stories to life. These two were amazing. Well worth the listen
