Publisher's summary

I punish lies and deceit,

An eternal damnation of agony and pain.

Yet, when it is my wife whose deception plagues me,

I know what I must do.

Shackle her soul to the lying, cold corpse that she is,

Ensuring that she never escapes me.

My wrath,

My torture,

My pain,

And my pleasure.

I am the King of Flesh and Bone,

Every part of her I possess and own.

She is mine,

Death shall never do us part.

Welcome home, my queen.

Queen of Rot and Pain is a full-length dark fantasy novel and the second book in The Pale Court duet. The two-part story features a ruthless man, a woman who can't escape his love, and a happily ever after. This world contains dark themes, violence, loss, and elements of horror that some may find disturbing. What it doesn't contain is a hero—because villains do it better...

This story gives me all the feels

Enosh makes me want to slap him when he’s being an asshole, but when he’s being sweet it seriously makes my heart melt. The narration is *on point* and the sex scenes will leave you tingling. I love this duology, highly recommend! Please keep in mind that this is a DARK romance and has quite a few triggers for those who need to be aware.

Great Book 2

Story continues to be interesting and different. Narrators did a good job with characters. Wish this was sold as duet in order to use one credit vs two credits. Maybe another book involving the brothers?

Ahhhmazing

This writer is fabulous. the way she wrote this story made me fall so hard for her! This duet is perfection. Dark, trigger heavy, emotionally consuming... I gobbled this up so fast! narration was also fire!

More male voice needed

The story is a period piece which I loved. It made it more exciting. There wasn’t enough male side which was a bummer imo. It got better balanced towards the end!

dark and lovely… for those who root for villains

dark and lovely… for those who root for villains. Check the warnings I don’t want bad reviews keeping work like this away from being made. Some of us like it when the villains win.

Loved it!!!

Loved it. I read book one and in moments scrambled around for book 2 and found it here on Audible. Understand, you are reading or listening to Dark Fantasy... embrace it, or move on. Listened non-stop... Awesome!

The looks I would get

I would forget that I would have my headphones in and be listening to this book and be with my friends or family and either I’d be yelling, so know why and start laughing or just expressing the mood. I would get absolutely love this, and the other book too, would love to see this is a TV series would be awesome.

Loved it

The story was great. I loved the ups and downs. The ending was slightly unexpected. Of course some good love making between Ada and the king.

New Here But I Love it & I think I'll Stay Awhile

This duet was so very good!! I recently dipped my toe in the dark fantasy pond starting with the amazing Vicious Lost Boys series by Nikki St. Crowe. This was recommended to me by someone on FB and the premise and trigger warnings intrigued me. I really enjoyed the depth of characters and the way that they changed each other. I also appreciated that the morally gray remained that way. Loved "Uncle Yarin" he added the much needed humor during some of the dark moments. The books are spicy in the best possible way. Definitely worth the credits. Enjoy!

A Growth Romance

I understand hearing the stories of peoples evolution in their relationship is key to producing a good story. And I do enjoy the realism but the amount of challenges in the book was overwhelming. I don't think I could re-read it but the experience was refreshing. I tend to love paranormal romance and this was very dark story. However, I did enjoy the adventure
