One Night. One Moment. One seriously huge mistake.

One touch. One moment. One night.

That’s all it was meant to be.

One completely insane night at a masked sex club for my best friend’s birthday. It was so far from my comfort zone and I really didn’t know what to expect. Care free fun? Sure. Wicked temptation? Absolutely.

Having the most exhilarating experience of my life? Well, the real shock came when I found out who was on the other side of that room.

Kolter.

My brother’s best friend, and, if you want to get technical with it, my adopted brother. Yeah, I don’t have much to say either. It was meant to be a fun One Night Stand but I fear it’s only just the beginning.

I’ve loved this series. This was a fun listen but I feel like this book was rushed compared to the others. The series is definitely worth the listen just wish this book didn’t end so abruptly!

Great Series

One Night Surrender was a really fantastic listen. This is one of those audiobooks where the chemistry does a lot of the heavy lifting, and both narrators understood the assignment.

Corvin King was such a good pick for the MMC. He has that rough edge in his voice that works really well for a character like this, and he made the possessive, bad boy energy feel natural instead of forced. There was something about the way he delivered the protective moments that made this character even easier to fall for.

Andi Eloise was also a great fit. She brought the right amount of sweetness to the FMC without making her feel flat, and I liked that she still gave her enough backbone to hold her own. She made the emotional side of the story feel believable, which mattered because the audio needed more than just spice to keep it interesting.

What I liked most is that this audiobook felt easy to fall into. The taboo tension was there, the attraction was there, and the narrators made the whole dynamic feel forbidden, fated, intense and addictive.

Tropes: taboo romance, opposites attract, high heat, forbidden tension, emotional romance, motorcycle romance, innocent FMC, bad boy MMC, possessive MMC, protective MMC

fun high heat taboo read

this is a pretty good book. I feel like parts were rushed. I would've liked more feom aomw parts. overall a decent read. narrators are top notch

pretty good

Main trope: This is a taboo romance.

Additional tropes:
✅ Motorcycle club setting
✅Dark romance

Final thoughts: This was a fun and fast paced, taboo romance. It’s more believable as brother’s best friend than the fact that the MMC was her adopted brother but the taboo part was still very present. Having read another book in the series, I was not expecting the motorcycle club and subsequent violent aspect to the storyline which I didn’t mind at all.

I listened to this as an audiobook and thought the narration was amazing. Both of the narrators brought the characters to life and Corvin King as Kolter was the perfect choice.

Great performance and fun, spicy story…
