I really enjoyed this story and the narrators. The story kept me involved in the story and the characters. Loved both the male and female voices. I listened to it twice. Now I am going to the second one.

while I love a xteamy story. the sex in this book just seemed like filler. the story line is amazing just aish there would have been more of it.

This book is pure sex and it’s written well. Usually you only get one or the other. It’s a really interesting concept, and I am super bummed that there’s only one more sequel, I was hoping for a trilogy. Authors S. King and L Valenti, only have these two books published you guys need to get riding again

Okay, I'm going to be honest here. Until I listened to NIGHT MAGIC, I wasn't so sure that reverse harem was for me. But with this group of characters and an interesting paranormal plot line, I was hooked from the first chapter.

I really like Aster. She's not only smart and sassy, she's also desperate enough to outmaneuver the chastity charm that covers all members of her coven. Because, well, she has needs just like any other woman, witch or otherwise, and nothing's going to stand in her way.

The men of the Koda coven have no such restrictions, and, man, are they not afraid to exercise their right to pleasure. Aster has no idea of the power that her spellmaking has unleashed, but Rake, Finn, and Damon are more than happy to help her out.

There are plenty of twists, turns, and suspense here, as well as a boatload of fan yourself steaminess that keep things moving along nicely. And, yes, there is a cliffhanger, but not one that requires any kicking, screaming, or flinging of reading devices. I always like to say that anticipation is half the fun of a good story, and NIGHT MAGIC does not disappoint.

Narrators Hollie Jackson and Aiden Snow do a great job of bringing these characters to life, infusing humor, heat, and life into them, and making this story even more enjoyable.

So I am not opposed to this genre, I just like to know in advance what I’m getting into because my choice of reading is dictated by my mood. This gets overly steamy overly soon & if categorize that as erotica given the content & lack of storyline. After a bit the story actually gets better & interesting but I didn’t really care about any of the characters until maybe halfway or more through this book. As a result of this I don’t really care enough to spend a credit on book 2. If they had moved some of the story to the front maybe I’d be more invested. But, it’s good if this is the mood ur lookin for.
I love the narration, I’ll pretty much read anything by Hollie Jackson!

I really enjoyed this start to a seriously hot and intriguing new PNR series. I listened to it on Audiobook courtesy of the author and let me just say, oh my! I haven't read too many reverse harem or paranormal lately, I'm a big fan of the Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry series both reverse harem but not with witches so this is a very cool new change for me. This book is sexy and steamy in a new way, a way in which real life can never really copy. The imagination, world building, storyline and character development is simply fantastic. I love the different covens we are introduced to and what they bring to the table.
Aster is fascinating. She is a member of the Chastity coven. Their thing is that all unmarried female members of their coven must practice abstinence. Aster wields some pretty cool magic!
Her men, or they will be anyway,Damon, Finn and Rake are so sexy and each very different from the other; and are from a different coven, the Koda coven. They are all also still grieving the loss of Cassandra who was their fourth.
Aster is a PI and she is investigating Cassandra's death among others and thus begins some smokin' hot interactions with these men and some nefarious goings on courtesy of some demons.
This is a cliffhanger, I am assuming it will be an ongoing storyline so we will get much more character development and all the good stuff!! I cannot wait for more in this series!

Do you like Reverse Harem with a Paranormal twist? Get ready for a magical journey to Savior City. Night Magic focuses on Aster Night who is from Chastity coven and she works as a Bounty Hunter and P.I for Chasity Bounty. She is the best they have. Aster is beyond frustrated. Due to a curse from long long ago she and her coven are unable to have the pleasures from sex without being married to someone from the Koda coven. She can't imagine marrying a Koda even though her father was Koda. She makes plan to break the spell and relieve the curse herself. She sneaks into Koda coven's forrest to perform the spell to her surprise it not only works but she finds the Koda men aren't all that bad afterall. She meets up with 3 tall handsome naked men in the forest and begins the journey to make up for lost pleasures. Rake, Finn, and Damon are Koda brothers and they have lost their mate, their fourth. She was killed and they are desperate to find who not only killed Cassie but also two others. The Koda authorities have tried and failed, they decide to go outside their coven and hire Chastity Bounty to find the killer and bring the justice they all need. Aster is the woman for the job so she sets out to find the killer and with these three men's help she will not only succeed but enjoy the pleasures along the way. What a great magical book. Filled with witches and spells and secrets, surprises and hot hot sex with extremely talented men. It is nice to escape reality into the magic of this modern day reverse harem. I highly recommend it even if you don't normally enjoy this type of book. It wasn't what I would normally look for but I'm oh so glad I did. Loved it and Hollie Jackson and Aiden Snow did a fantastic job narrating it.

It’s frustrating when you have a reverse harem story, with 1 female character and 3+ sexy male characters and most of the narration is from the female character. Especially when you hire a voice actor like Aiden Snow. It’s a waste.

I wish more writers would think ahead about how their audiobook will flow and narrate from each of the male character’s POV equally. Let each person get their share. It’s a much more enjoyable experience for the listener to hear the male narration from the male voice actor. Otherwise, you have a female narrator trying to do male voices more than you actually get to hear a male character. It’s awkward and takes away from the experience.

This book is all sex and story. I like it but it was heavily and steamy, if that's what you want. The only distracting thing was that they had another before the MC and I can't quite get over it. Part of me is sadden when someone dies and it hurts me.
