Adam and Diana’s business merger marriage unfolds layer by layer in a compelling and emotional read that grabbed me by the heart and wouldn’t let go. Neither character has been honest with each other since Adam has been living a lie and Diana has been plotting the demise of their marriage with an apathy that shocks him. When he sets out to get her out of his system by introducing her to his former world of BDSM neither could predict how their relationship would change and the roller coaster ride is worth the price of admission. I listened to the audiobook and was blown away by the powerful narration performances of Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.

I absolutely love these narrators and the dual performance was on point. I love Adam and everything how he tries to do the right thing because he loves her so much. I don't love how she doesn't see how much he loves her or even tries to understand what he is going through. It is a lot of self discovery for herself and letting go of fantasies she wouldn't let herself admit that she wanted in her life. They both have terrible communication and ultimately not trusting each other enough to speak the truth about what they want. Overall I did like the book and will read the second one in hopes for a great ending!

I don't know if I love it or hate it! Maybe a little of both

Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York had completely justified their roles as main characters. This was my first book from CD Reiss and let me assure you that I wasn't disappointed at all.

Hot BDSM Couple

While initially I was totally team Adam, by the end of book 1, I had more sympathy for Diana even though her character kind of pissed me off. CD Reiss is an incredible writer. Whether reading or listening, her stories grab and hold your attention.
Both narrators did an outstanding job!

I am sitting here wanting more, tears in my eyes for the love this couple has for one another. I couldn't put this down, this novel gripped me- AMAZING!

CD Reiss kept me completely captivated in Adam and Diana's story and it was INCREDIBLE. It's sad, sweet, sexy and hott! She immerses her readers in all their marriage troubles and lets both sides be known. But neither Adam nor Diana were prepared for all that followed ... Don't miss this book!

Two broken souls: one who feels unloved, and another as though he's irrevocably broken but completely delusional as to why. I was lost in the depths of this book, and even though it had hot and steamy scenes, the emotion poured into it could be felt in each and every word, each scene. I've never been one to enjoy BDSM books, not the "true" BDSM scene, but CD Reiss and the spectacular narrators pull you into the world and make you think of the impossible. Contemplate a world outside of your comfort zone and how it affects a person.
It's a story of love and passion and what it takes to get there. I snapped up book two as soon as I finished Marriage Games.
I will say, there will be times that you might want to throat-punch Adam, but give him a chance. I adore him. Five fantabulous stars!
