The audio performance for this was pretty solid- I loved Stephanie Rose's narration as our wounded and broken omega, she's fantastic and so consuming. And Gabriel MIchael was enjoyable as well- it's not easy playing so many different male characters (this is a pack of 6 different men) but he brings great energy in trying to help differentiate them and highlight the uniqueness of each guy.

The story overall is really engaging - a rescued heroine finds her pack unexpectedly and they are very sweet in helping keep her safe and help her through her heat. Ends on a cliffhanger though. The pack is good but some of the guys aren't 100% memorable (when i started book 2 I'd forgotten who a couple of them were LOL)- but I dont love HUGE packs in general for this reason, so I just gravitated to a few of the guys I guess. I do love that there's a age gap here (almost all are older than the heroine and one is 20 years older), I dont see that much in omegaverse and it's my favorite trope.

all in all a solid listen. Not sure I'd love the audio more than the e-book read (sometimes I find with large packs eye ball reading helps me keep the characters straight better LOL) but I did enjoy the performances and decided to stick with audio for book 2.

I really enjoyed the story and the concepts are completely unique for an omegaverse. The issue is that the girl seemed a little too childish to be so sexualized. So at times I felt a little pervy for listening to the story at all...lol. For those who want to know there are MMM thruple and MM couple in the pack that the F joins. Also there is a huge cliffhanger so be prepared to buy the 2nd book.

i had already read the ebook awhile ago, it was fantastic!!! I cannot wait until part 2 comes out!!! such a good series!!!

Cambrie has been through hell and back and then back to hell. she finally finds the pack that loves, cherishes, and appreciates her....but will it work out when the other powers that be are against them all?

this absolutely ends on a cliffhanger.

I hate leaving reviews like this but honestly this is the epitome of predictable plot lines. The spice is mediocre. I listen to hundreds of audiobooks a year and I usually never start a series without finishing it but I’ll not be purchasing part 2. How this has 4.8 stars is beyond me.

Gabriel Michel is an outstanding narrator, but unfortunately, this particular story didn’t resonate with me. The female main character is only 18, while the oldest alpha is in his 40s and most of the others are in their 30s. I usually don’t mind age gap dynamics, but in this case, it felt problematic. The FMC stopped attending school at around 10 years old and was held captive from age 16 to 18. Given her history, she doesn't seem mentally or emotionally mature enough to make informed decisions without being vulnerable to manipulation. She lacks an understanding of societal norms, laws, and politics, which made the interactions with the older male characters feel more like grooming than genuine relationships, in my opinion. I couldn’t keep reading it once it started getting spicy.
