I am in love !!!! The character details, the story, even the narration… I’m kinda speechless. I don’t want to give any spoilers but it had to be weird to write about a writer. I do think having a male narrator made the book even more appealing. Skylar Morgan did a fabulous job. I don’t usually read books like this genre (dark Irish romance) but I am so glad I did !!! I now want to read all of the books from Piper Stone!

This book was pretty good. The narrator Skyler Morgan was probably the best part. Duel narration would have been better since there was so much of the female point of view and the narrator was male. I liked the book but the last part of it just seemed rushed.

This book is spicy for sure. It is a mafia “romance”with the kidnapping trope, brutal alpha male who enjoys providing punishment to his captor, and a huge age difference. Lots of spicy scenes for sure. Stay for the spice…but the rest of the story was lackluster.

If you are here for the spice and nothing but the spice then the book is solid. But the story arc for Liam solving his wife and son’s murder was somewhat predictable. Also their “love story” caused me whiplash. In the morning she loathed him and by that night she loved him. And she seemed to switch from loath to love after he finally “fully claimed her” in every way. She seemed to just be like well he kidnapped me, has been brutal and humiliated me on multiple occasions but the spice is hot soooo love. I just didn’t understand her loving him. Just not my cup of tea, I like a mafia romance but prefer when the heroine has more consent.

I did listen to it via audible and Skyler Morgan did a great job narrating the book.

Piper did it again. wrote a story I listened to non stop as I couldn't wait to find out how it will end. The narration was well done and I look forward to more from this narrator. Of course it goes without saying I can't wait for the next story from Piper's imagination.

This was one delightful sexy tantalizing refreshing vibrant story
I love the charters they packed a punch they where intriguing and keep me holding my breath waiting to see what would happen next ,
this story sucked me right in from the 1st word to the very last .
Who doesn't love a dark sexy bad boy mafia alpha Man and the women they love...

I thought Skyler Morgan did a wonderful job narrating this sinful story!!!

Regardless of how indifferent Liam acted to Cimeran, he was enamored with her from the start. Did he just get Stockholmed??????? lol.
Loads of heat and sizzle. I never warmed up to
Liam and felt some deep sadness for Cimeran because of all the violence she endured and suffered from a man that was supposed to love her. How could he be so mean and love her??? Twisted love??? I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Abuse isn't attractive mo matter how it's packaged
