this was a slow burn but I really,like the characters and narrators. before I knew it the story was over and I was left with a cliffhanger. normally I dont like a slow build up, but I was really into this one

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I am going to say no. I am 5 hours into this book. It is suppose to be in the Erotica category and the leads have yet to get together. When others said the story ended with no resolve I didn't think they meant no sexy time. This couple may get there in this story but I will never know.

Would you ever listen to anything by Angela Graham again?

No. The male lead in this story is a manwhore who is nonredeemable, to me at least. If, any of her other characters are like these ones then I would not enjoy her work. It just is not for me.

What does Xe Sands bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is enjoyable to listen to but I can't think of anything.

Do you think Inevitable needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It has follow ups but I won't be reading them.

If you are into books like 50 Shades, Crossfire, This Man, or the Blackstone Affair then you will be deeply disappointed in this story. I am all for characters building a relationship but
when you are 5 hours into a 9 hour story and the characters have yet to hook up and the male lead seems so nonredeemable it just leaves me not caring anymore.

It is Inevitable that I am giving up on this book!

Ms. Xe Sands could make reading a grocery list enthralling. I've yet to listen to any of her narrations that were less than excellent. As for the book and storyline itself, it was quite good. The main characters were likable and there's quite a bit of mystery surrounding both and their backgrounds, particularly Logan. Two things I didn't know: 1) There is a prequel that released after this book, "Indulge". 2) This is a cliffhanger. Story ends with no resolution to the characters lives and their relationship. You MUST continue on in the series.

Interesting cliffhanger and Ms. Sands fabulous...

4.5 Stars - I picked up this book solely because of 2 things.. it was a romance and it was narrated by Xe Sands. I haven't heard about this author before and I was quite enjoying it until boom! CLIFFHANGER!!! What?!?!? Ugh... I hate cliffhangers. Now thankfully this book was written in 2013.. so I currently have the next audiobook downloading as I type this. But wow, seriously did not see that coming - this is where an actual paperback type book sorta warns you… you know, with the lack of pages left… lol

Anyway, back to my review. This book has lots of flirty moments, it's a slow burn kinda book, lots of wishing and wanting and almosts.. which have built the tension nicely. I like both Logan and Cassandra and they are fun together. Oliver is a nice addition and offers a little more to each character in how they interact with him. There are some intense moments, some sweet, some not so much. I have paused in what I was doing more than once to just listen, as I watch the scene unfold in my mind.

So Yes, Still enjoying it.. and now as the download is complete.. I am off to listen to book 2! As always Xe Sands does a great job. She is one of my favourites!!

This is my first Angela Graham Novel. I enjoyed her writing and where I realize this is part of a series I needed more closure. The book seemed to just abruptly end. As a reader and lover of these character I was left unfulfilled with this book.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this story but REALLY??? I can't believe I have to wait until October :( I will be impatiently waiting here checking for updates hoping it comes out sooner!

What a great story! The character are so likable, the writing is fabulous and the story just dragged me in and still hasn't let me go! I listened to this in 1 sitting, if you have not listened to it....LISTEN TO IT NOW....GO....TRUST ME....GO....LISTEN TO IT NOW!

Xe Sands is great as always too!

The only reason I listened to this book was because it was narrated by XP Sands. The book itself is pretty good.

This has been a good listen so far. I am enjoying the characters and the story line. I prefer a bit more mystery and so far it has been a little predictable at times. The narrator has been ok, on a couple of occasions she annoyed me a little. I am anxious to listen to book 2 to see how the story will progress.
