I was 12 when I started crushing on him. I was 17 when I met him by chance, and our connection was made. Now here I am, 23, and I'm one of the two actresses in the video for his band's latest single. Jesse Kingston is a tall, dark, and gorgeous temptation I'm finding hard to resist. It ends up not being as simple as doing a job and going home. It can't be when he continually makes his presence known with his not-so-innocent touches and sexy words. There is no avoiding him, and after spending so much time with him, I'm not sure I want to.

So, when he proposes a weekend together, I throw caution to the wind and say yes. I'm going to ignore the warning signs and do what I normally wouldn't. while there are more than a few eye roll worthy moments, there were just as many cute ones to make up for it.
Decent narration made the story worth listening to on audio book as well. :)

This was ok. It is a rockstar romance but it is just good enough to pass the time. The characters are meh. I really liked Luc, she seamed like she knew what she was worth and she thought out her decision but Jessie seamed ehh. Not a lot of depth to him. There was a lot of sexual things, you would expect that in this kinda of situation, the flirting to be on 10! Other things were talks about the mob and i never really enjoyed that type of book. But over all the book feels a bit all over with some subject dropping but then no follow through. Also they just suddenly threw a band together were instantly opening for the biggest band around?? I get connections and all that but it felt too forced fast.

It was just ehhh for me

Great story HORRIBLE narrator...just bad. Enjoyed reading this book but listening was torture. Flat performance that did nothing for the story.

Fun sexy rock and roll love story

Full disclosure - I did listen to this entire book. If we were not in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak I probably would have abandoned the book, but I have lots of time at the moment.
The story dragged on. There were so many drawn out sex scenes that it got boring. There are plenty of books where the characters are having lots of sex, but we don’t need the full description over and over and over again. It completely takes away from the story.
The narration was awful! Chandra cannot do a male voice at all. So it became confusing to keep the characters sorted out. She should only be narrating female characters.

The storyline is great and I finished listening just because of that, the narration left a lot to be desired. Very monotone and robotic sounding. Jessie sounds like he’s about to fall asleep talking- slow and no inflections. Ethan sounds ridiculous. I am hoping the second book will be better with a different narrator.

I loved this version of Anne Mercier's rockstar romance Falling Down. Jesse and Lucy are beauiful together and the narrator does a Fantastic job of bringing these two much loved characters to life!

I absolutely loved this book. I love rock star stories. They are so exciting and this one fits the bill. The accidental meeting when Lucy as a teenager was little far fetched, but you can always wish. A teenager's dream come true. There were a lot of characters and I had to listen closely to figure out who was who. However, the author must have understood that because she introduced them several times. That was a big help. This book had all the elements of an HEA with a lot of other stuff thrown in. Love the Italian touch. The narrator did a great job. However, if I wasn't listening closely I missed who was talking. Gonna get the next one in the series. This was a standalone, but I didn't want the story to stop. Love to see this story in a movie. I think it would be great.

I love Anne Mercier, lover her love her love her. her Rock star series has been one of my favorite a for a VERY long time.
but this audio book killed it!
the narrator was too old, and didn't have the right tone or inflection for this story

my advice buy the book or the e book, not the audiobook

I was in the mood for a rockstar romance and this ticked that box double since they were both musicians so I gave it a listen. It had a lot of fun lines from Zander, Ben and the rest of the band. It was entertaining but I kind of agree with the reviews that said Lucy and Sarah were a bit full of themselves. They had a lot just fall into place easily for them as far as the band went. But I liked it enough to continue the series so I’ll be listening to Blush next.
