I was frustrated by the first book. I get the premise but it was an incredibly dangerous relationship that they both entered into mostly bc they didn’t communicate at all. He was a bad dom (if you can even call him that) and she was a bad sub. And they never addressed the issue of her lying about being a professional sub.
The third book was just...uncomfortable. During the edge play scene I kept thinking ‘why would you put a blindfold on someone who is already having a panic attack?’
There were so many issues with these two books. This was my first experience with Claire Thompson and I don’t think I’ll be coming back for more.
