Three outlaw Cyborgs. One human female....

Axel, Steel, and Gage. Merciless supersoldiers. Forbidden cybernetic experiments gone awry. They escaped from their Hurlian programmers and now live hidden in a desolate area of space where few enter and none leave.

They crave one female to claim, one who will satisfy all their desires. But Cyborgs are illegal, so finding a mate has proven difficult.

Until Megan.

As a survivor of horrific abuse at the hands of her alien captors, this tiny female from the original planet is both strong and fierce. Her white-hot desire brings all three men to their knees. They want this female. Forever.

But will she choose to live on the bleak edge of space with three exacting, contraband Cyborgs who have been stripped of human emotions? Or is their time up? Will the original programmers return for their ultimate weapons, destroying their female and all they’ve constructed?

This was a very good story. Meghan was taken from earth by the Hurlians. Axel, Gage and Steel were taken from new earth as children and turned into warrior fighting machines by the Hurlians. They ended up escaping in the Swirl and had their own place and thriving business. They rescued Meghan when she escaped and blew up the Hurlian ship (with the Hurlians on it). Initially she was slow to trust since she was raped for a week by the Hurlians. This turned out to be a very enjoyable story. There was some suspense when other Hurlians found them. This is my first time listening to Alex Gold and he did an outstanding job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The heroine was kidnapped by alien slavers and then escaped while blowing up their ship. She’s found by 3 cyborgs who had escaped from a race called the Hurlians, who had stolen them as children. Instantly the three want the beautiful woman as their mate to live with them out in an area called The Swirl- a place where space junk gathered. They make their living recycling junk and are quite wealthy. Everything is going great until the Hurlians find them. Narration was well done!

First off, Adam Gold nailed it. He really does a fantastic narration (this is my first encounter with his work). The story itself was good but I'm one who like a bit more action and drama.

This was a nice quick listen. I'm not into Syfy very much but this one held my interest. The narration is impeccable and I will search him out for future listens. There are scenes of past rape but it wasn't overly graphic IMO at least compared to other books I have listened to previously but it could possibly be a trigger for some.

Enjoyed this first book in the series. The author provided enough information to let us know about each character and their background; why and who they are what they are.

I like that our heroine was a fighter and was willing to risk death than to continue living as a slave. Our heroes, they've been through a lot themselves and instead of holding it against the rest of the world for the injustice reaped onto them, they try their best to continue living in peace with others, even if that means in secrecy.

I only wish there was more conflict with the mutual enemy. But I like that the author didn't gloss over the main reason why our heroine was having a harder time accepting the heroes intimate attentions. Surviving through what she did is not easily overcome. Their love for her is what made her come through it in the end.

BTW, LOVE LOVE LOVE ADAM GOLD! His voice is so wonderful! I will have to look at his other narrations.

Very good start!
