It was an OK story line but it didn't seem to be going anywhere other than bdsm. I was kinda hoping for more relationship and love than that but that was just my take on the story. I do kinda feel like I wasted a credit.

The deep, gutteral quality of Sean's voice makes him absolutely perfect for these types of books. His voice just caresses your senses and really makes his characters come alive in your mind.
Ava is still a new-to-me narrator, but her ability to pull you right in to what Casey is feeling is a god-tier quality in a voice actor, and she nails it on the head!

Pros of the Story 👍
- (this could be a pro or a con depending on who you are. I'm going to put in a pro because most people who are reading these kinds of books are looking for this:) this book is pretty much pure smut with little plot.

Cons of the Story 👎
- there was very little plot. And what plot there was completely revolved around the smut. So it's kind of the opposite of the "pro" I wrote right above.

In summary 📝

8/10 would recommend to my friends that like just playing smut books. However, to people I know read for the plot, I wouldn't recommend this at all.

So I probably won't ever read this again. I mean, it was good. But it's kind of one of those ones you read it, you're good. For me anyways. I know everybody is different.
I'm a dark romance girl, I'm all about the taboo subjects. So yes, The stepfather and stepdaughter dynamic is one that intrigues me. But, I would have liked there to be a little more conflict and conflict resolution but with the lack of any significant plot, it was literally just smut, then more smut and then even more smut.
There was one section in there that I was like oh my God this could lead to some amazing drama, but then when it boiled down to it, the worst was that they didn't hear from Max for a few hours and then when he showed up they just plowed through it like "oh yeah, I talked to her and I got her to agree to talk to you before she calls the cops" and yada yada yada. It was just anti-climactic. That would have been the great bit of conflict that I was searching for and then the author was just like no let's skim over it so we can get to more smut.
So even though this book isn't really my cup of tea, I'm still giving it a four-star rating because the writing was good and the execution of said smut was good.

The Voice Actors for this Book are Top-Tier.

I read the books out of order not realizing until until I noticed there were missing details. But once I went back and read this one. It has me hooked and ready to listen to the rest. The voices were excellent and I could see the events unfold!
