Yes, it was a great story.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Sean Crisden needed to do all the narrating, unfortunately Lucy Malone does not have the voice for Romance/erotica.

I really liked the storyline in this first book of the series, although Lucian's character started off as an Alpha, don't respect anyone's opinion to being quite pussy whipped by Lia. It had a great storyline with always something happening but I got this book from audible on the basis that Sean Crisden was the narrator, and he was but just not enough, the female narrator was Lucy Malone who is a great narrator but just should not narrate romance/erotica unfortunately she does not have a very sensual voice, it's more like a shaky, weak, old school mam's voice and that's what ruined my listening pleasure, so stick to the written word on this one and you will enjoy it.

Too much about sex and cliffhanger made this story unbearable. I skipped all the sex scenes and the story was soo sad and dark and long. This was the first book and I won’t continue with the sequel.

Wouldn't of gotten this if I had known there was going to be a cliffhanger. Part 2 was released a year ago in print. Not knowing if Book 2 will be released on Audio is frustrating...has happened way to many times.

This book may leave you on a cliffhanger, but goodness gracious if it isn’t an amazing book. I loved it from start to finish. Can’t wait until the next book.

I must admit I not a big fan of cliff hangers I try to wait to get books until the whole series is released. I can't be the only one out there with no patients (although maybe I should work on that) so thought I would give a warning.

It is a good story and I think it is worth the read or should I say listen.

Just a quick note before getting into the review. I loved how there was two narrators for this audio.. They done and amazing job.

This is actually an author who I have never read one of there books before. So I was really looked forward to digging in and so happy I took that chance. Wow, were to begin. Before starting this book I had went through the reviews. A lot of people compared it to this book or that book. I would like to say this book stands in a class all it’s own. It is an extremely good book and will keep your attention from beginning to end. I did have both the audio and the ebook so I tried the whispersyc but I could not get it to work.

Lia and Lucian both have a very dark past. Both had scars emotional and physically. Lia is a very strong woman and it is amazing how she came through the storm as strong as she was. Her mother and stepfather had beat her down, emotional and physically. My heart truly broke for her. One thing you can say about her is she is a surviver.

Lucian I understand he has went thought some really bad things but to say he is a strong man I can not. He has a really bad dark secret and I have to say that this dark secret is truly his weakness and makes me look at him as weak.

I do believe Lia and Lucian are good for each other. Both know how it feels to go through dark times. They understand each others pain. Lia is more open then Lucian when it come to their past. They both are very protective of each other.

Lia’s past will come a knocking. This could be the one thing that could tear her apart. I do love how Lucian is determined to stand beside her but can he really protect her for what is to come. There is a HUGE cliffhanger so beware of that. Me I have already bough book 2 and 3. Yip got to finish their story and see what happens next. I did buy the audio and ebooks for this as well. I am hoping that whispersyc will work for them.

This is a book I highly recommend if you love a good storyline, hot steamy parts, and a story that is a little on the dark side. I got a feeling that way it ended it is going to get even more darker.
