This had A Fish Called Wanda vibes, with bent, smutty humor and nutty plans devolving into nuttier consequences. There’s a lot of sex; none of it’s sexy or romantic. It’s all about the comedy.

I’m not sold on the narration. On the one hand, it was narrated with a deadpan, Joe Friday, delivery, and perhaps that allowed the comedy sketches to shine. On the other hand, I can’t help but think that graphic audio, with some bowchickawowwow music and hyperbolically overacted sex scenes would have had me in stitches.

I so enjoyed this book. I snort laughed a few times. Jeff Strand can make anything funny. Even if you’re cringing it’s still funny.
