The story telling is a little off. The baby voice of the kindergartner was weird. The relationship didn’t really flow well. Chemistry wasn’t tangible. The ex-husband angle was super trite. The sperm bank premise is a cool idea and I’ve read a few that were done well but this isn’t it.

I could say more but… this seems like enough.

Oh! The weird semi-rapey “did he f*ck” me while I was passed out was skeevily delivered.

So the h got turned on after she almost raped my the “ex” husband. She also was splashed with red wine by the “ wife” want to be and got to turn on after that. What a weak and dumb h and the H was no better. Do people really write this stuff? Never heard of this author and will be my last. This would be okay if the h had backbones. Instead she got turn on and cried? Sad that the author had no respect for female.

I hardly leave a review but I really enjoy listening to this especially driving long hours. It kept me awake. I wish the voice of 5 years old little girl can be better. She sounds like a whiny teenager. Overall I highly recommend this book.

This books has reoccurring themes of rape that are toxic and disgusting.

After a night of drinking the female mc wonders if he had sex with her, if he had it would have been rape.

When her ex enters her home assaults and attempts to rape her, then assaults the male mc, no one calls the police! The mc's just proceed with their spaghetti dinner and make-out session

I abandoned the book after that because wtf

Who sits down to their spaghetti dinner after an attempted rape?!
