When I started listening to this book I was disappointed and wanted to return it. It started off very boring to me and I couldn't get into the narrator's voice. However I gave it a chance and completed it and I am glad I did.

Enjoyable, But Not At First

This was a different story line with many twists and turns. The characters were likable and the narrator did a good job. Worth the credit or purchase.

This book was very interesting. Filled with mystery and intrigue as well as romance. I sped it up to 1.2, so it did go faster. Unabridged may be good for reading but not for audio. Could have cut out about 3 hours and still had a great story.

Great Story but too long for audio

Should've been four hours shorter. There are loads of descriptions of clothes, sex, hair, etc. and long meandering internal dialogs that add nothing to the plot or that make characters slightly interesting. I skipped several chapters and lost nothing. Hire an editor.

Instead it is a bonanza of romance novel clichés (misunderstandings, vowing never to get married, blah blah blah). Clichés can be fine if done well. That is not the case here.

Finally, for the love of all that's holy, authors need to stop using the word "lathe" to describe foreplay involving nipples. It is almost as gross as describing a mouth as a "moist cavern." Shudder.

Not worth a credit. Fine if you have the Romance package and want a sleep aide.
