This suspenseful psychological thriller weaves two separate plots that expertly intersect, keeping me on the edge of my seat. I love the reading that I was listening to… the story was fabulous and I was trying to guess who the man was that took her.. and was totally surprised when I heard who it was. Great story Dandy. Gonna look for more books if you have some.

white knuckle ride

from the first page to the last, it is engrossing, with many unexpected twists and turns

Dual time line merges into a twisted plot line that keeps you engaged.

The story line is a little slow at the beginning. I’ve read a few other reviews that talked about this book seeming like two stories that were fused to become one. I will say that I completely agree. There were elements that were not really needed in the beginning and elements that I felt could have been further developed at the end. Overall, the book kept my attention. I was able to make a few assumptions initially that were correct. However, the reveals still felt interesting to me. I definitely felt this book was worth the purchase. I should also mention there are some potential triggers related to this book. I am not sure if they are stated by the author.

page turning within every chapter. complete shock over and over. This is a must read!

Great narration

Nice turns of phrase, good writing in general, the story was less compelling than I’d hoped for. The main character is super interesting, others less so. Overall, good for a long flight or similar situation.

Frustrating plot

This felt like every other book I’ve read with an unreliable main character who is made to seem they are going mad. It was a frustrating read for me that lead to a let down when all was resolved. I didn’t love this book.
