This is the second book I have read from this author. The first one was "Sleeping Beauty" (which was amazing). This author seems to have a plot patter..Show More »n he likes to follow, but I don't care! I loved this book. I have never listened or read a book that has plot twists that this author uses, so I am very happy with him. This book kept me on the edge of my seat.
This was a good book. Well conceived and well executed. The characters are convincing, the plot is credible, coincidences don't happen too often to ..Show More »make things work out.
It had me engaged all the way through.
I recommend this book.
For some strange reason, in a book in which most of the voices are male, the producer chose a woman to perform. She is constantly reading in a hoarse ..Show More »voice in an attempt to sound "male." This makes listening most unbearable.
Then, of course there is the ridiculous plot. A sad sack attorney who convinces his client to plead guilty in a death penalty case...WITHOUT A SENTENCE AGREEMENT! I don't think so. It goes down hill from there. Drug dealers killing themselves, who cares! A forensic tech who is falisfying evidence, gee wonder where that came from...since it was all over the news a year ago. But of course Margolin's tech commits an unbelivably horrid murder when discovered. This is just a bad book on all levels, do yourself a favor and skip it.
the reader J.D brings author's characters to life. This is not my fave story of the author, but will buy any of this author's stories read by J.D. You..Show More » can't be multi-tasking so much on this story as this one has lots of names you will need to remember later in the tale.
