Weak narrator that doesn't give this book her all, I often couldn't distinguish between which characters were talking ruined this listen for me, coupl..Show More »ed with a so/so plot makes this a so/so listen.
Worth a credit? No, not in my opinion, there's much better Highlander books out there which has spoilt me for lesser ones.
I love Highland books but I found this one soooooo slow - I had to double speed it to get through it. Didn't like the narrator either and I think it ..Show More »may have been better with a much more skilled person reading it.
This story is very different than the first 2 in this series. This book is a romantic paranormal adventure that surrounds mystery. It is not a scar..Show More »y paranormal story at all.....its more a romantic quirky paranormal. The main characters (Dougald and Alana) are very likeable from the beginning. The spark between them is endearing......very sweet. The narrator did a very good job with the voices. It took a while to get used to her Scottish accent but once I did there was no problem.
I don't read paranormal books that often but I enjoyed this one. You could definitely read any of the books in this series out of order with no problem.
