Possibly it's not to save a pair of drowning girls, not go 'viral' on social media and certainly not to let the local police take your passport, trapping you on a small 'party' island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. But Steve isn't the average guy, he's ex-military, ex-enforcer and ex-human. He's a one man nanite fuelled nightmare for those that cross the line, and he's decided that its time to clean up his act. He's going to make up for the things he's done, and save 'the little guys'.

Story
Due to unusual circumstances, Randidly starts in an isolated dungeon far beyond his level, forced to rely on the mysterious Traveler Shal in order to learn and survive with the dangerous new status quo for his world. But survive he does, only to leave the dungeon and discover that while he experienced several hellish months in the dungeon, only half a day passed on Earth. Randidly's capabilities are now more than enough to help build a small enclave of survivors, but that doesn't mean balancing his sense of responsibility against the plots of an unfriendly town will be easy.

But that’s all put on hold when he enters his abuela’s house and somehow ends up stepping into a world unlike anything he’s ever known, filled with fantastical meta-humans; walking, talking devils; and other creatures one usually needs some serious pharmaceuticals to see. Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Gabriel Delling might call himself a professional con artist, but when walking superstitions start trying to bite his face off, his charm is shockingly unhelpful. It turns out living nightmares almost never appreciate a good joke. Together with a succubus who insists on constantly saving his life, Gabe desperately tries to survive a new reality that suddenly features demons, legends, and a giant locust named Dale - all of whom pretty much hate his guts. And when an ancient horror comes hunting for a spirit locked in his head, Gabe finds himself faced with the excruciating choice between death...or becoming some kind of freaking hero.

Story
In the beginning, the gods destroyed the world. Five hundred years later, things haven’t gotten much better for humans. The demigods that were left behind to guard over humanity have been using them as fodder for an endless civil war between themselves, and the humans just go on dutifully slaughtering each other, battle after battle. It’s not all bad, though. Perry McGown makes his living off those bloody, stinking battlefields. He works on a crew that reclaims all the spent shell casings. But if anyone found out that he was a deserter from the war, he’d be executed for heresy.

Story
Luke is an apprentice leather worker, training with his family to one day take over the business. He and his friends Andre, Taylor, and Zed have known each other forever, and swear that nothing will ever tear apart their friendship. Then the Royal Decree comes. With the Dynasty of Dogs invading, and strange monsters appearing in the Hollow Kingdom, a draft has been implemented. Everyone 17 or older is required to be tested for "Potential". If they have it, they will join the mysterious and renowned Ascender Corps. If not, they will be drafted into the Legion as a forced recruit.

Awesome continuation of the story!
This book was simply awesome! The continuation of this story arc has me wanting the next book now. Ignore the negative nellies that probably haven’t had a positive thing to say since they found their imaginary voice when social media came into existence. The story is great and the performance by Neil is captivating. Don’t miss out or you will regret it!

The ending was like fighting a huge boss at the end of a game and WINNING, but not getting to see what benefits your reaped and how much XP you got! I need more yesterday!

Just brilliant!
Excellent story, well paced action combined with an exceptional narrative and character development! I absolutely cannot wait for more in this saga.
Jez Cajiao creates wonderful worlds to delve into and as with all his narrative works Neil Hellegers breathes life into the universe with his sublime voice acting!

Fantastic listen!!
I'm not a avid video game player but I know the basics but let me tell you this is wonderfully intriguing book and the narrator just made this book exactly what a non gamer needs to want to listen to it. When a book can make me laugh out loud its definitely a keeper. The only thing with me being a non gamer that drove me nuts was the amount of times the stats were repeated which is why I gave the story 4 stars the rest was definitely 5 stars. TBH I skipped those parts but listened to the rest. Loved the audiobooks so much I bought all of them.!! Narrator is the best

A fantastic continuation of the story of the Storm Lord…
From the start this book builds and develops the back story in a meaningful way; all the way till the very last second. You will enjoy this book and look forward to the next.

Great story progression! Awesome narration!
I personally love Jez Cajiao’s style and storytelling. Other reviews seem to bash on the MC, but I think he’s much more relatable when flawed. AND he seems to get brought back down to reality while progressing in his OP class(es). The MC power trips a bit, but he gives way more shit about his people and humanity than he lets on. I can’t wait for more to come with this story. Thank you Jez and Neil for another entertaining story!
