Aliens came to Earth to abduct our women, but it backfired. Now they're returning them, and I'm in charge of shuttling women back from orbit.

This book is one of many in a standalone series by the same author and I have to say, this one that I picked to start with first was a solid alien romance story. I would've preferred a bit more "birthday" theme as this is a series revolving around holidays, but they story was still compelling and could easily be the start of a spinoff.

I thought the narrator did a pretty good job overall, but her inflection for some of the male dialogue was a bit odd at times.

Now that I've gotten a feel for this author's writing style, I'm pretty sure I'm going to check out her other titles in this series. Would definitely recommend this one even if you aren't looking for a too much of a holiday theme because the birthday bit is basically at the start and then very end.
