This was a typical duff McAllister book it was interesting and I did enjoy it but actually I was looking forward to Luke Jensen because I actually like the storyline with that character I do not quite understand why they put this in that series

This is Book 13 in the Duff MacCallister series. A great story too! But Corey M Snow is a horrible narrator. It is my opinion he is a distraction from the story. His try at accents is pathetic. I think he might do well if he simply read the story. But thestory is so good, you'll still want to listen.

another great Duff book. however the narration liked a lot. there wasn't much difference in the characters' voices except Duff

great character development, so many nuts in this world and they seem to congregate around chugwater. nothin' that Wang. Elmer and Duff can't handle.

craziness

Liked the story with several new characters. It had a suspenseful ending. The narrator was not as good as the other narrators in this series especially the Scottish accent.

Clan Warfare

The narrator was hard to listen to. Story was mot as strong as past books. They should have brought P.J. Ochlan back to narrate story.

Narrator ruins story

From the very beginning it was obvious that Mr. Corey M. Snow could not mimic the Scottish accent nor sound. In addition his voice lacked the sound of authority. After listening to the previous 11 books it was with difficulty to keep listening to book 12 "Ride the Nightmare". In addition Mr. Snow lacked the ability to create the gravelly voice of Elmer Gleason as well as the vouce of Yan Cho. Without the authenticity and authority of the 3 main character's voices in book 12 it is with difficulty envisioning anyone believing anything they say.

I am in no way am criticizing Mr. Snow's talent. But in my opinion it is unfortunate that he was selected to be the orator for this book.

I have not looked ahead to see who might be the orator on future books in this series but if it is by chance Mr. Snow I will have to contemplate whether I continue with or stop listening to this series.
