Garrison:

Love sucks! There, I said it. I've never looked for it, nor do I want it. All it seems to do is cause open wounds. I already suffer from the guilt of a horrific accident. I won't let love suck me down the rabbit hole. But Murphy's Law is a diva out to destroy my life. Someone sees me for more than just a one and done, and though I've pushed men away for years, he's refreshing. But remember that diva I told you about? She's sort of a b**** too. Yeah, love more than sucks, but since I can't use the words I want, I'll just stick to that, because the man I want has a connection with me no one knows about.

Lawson:

I met a man. Sure, he's a little detached and cynical. Though, try telling my heart he's all wrong for me. I've been over it with this particular traitorous part of my body. And I do the one thing I never do with my hook-ups: I give him a way to reach me. But it's more—I almost beg him to call me after my next deployment. Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, I'm in the military and am shipping out. I want him to be my welcoming party when I come home, yet when I unravel every complicated part of Garrison Fisher, I find more and more I should run from. But I can't. He's broken, but after my time in the military, I'm broken too. Can we fix one another and heal the wounds that may very well tear us apart?

I wish the reader would pick a single voice/accent for Lawson I can't tell if he's going for Irish, Australian, southern Belle, or im sorry in my opinion one of the most unattractive ones Boston/ New England

the lack of maintaining a single Character voice/accent

I like the fact that these two main characters had developed some feelings without even knowing everything about each other. I have been waiting for Garrison to have his chance at love and this story didn’t disappoint. I love how caring Lennon is. The last few chapters contains some wonderful and dramatic scenes. I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

Guilt

I haven't read too many military romance and I have to say this will change after today even after how nervous I was for Law. I loved Lawson and Garrison together. I loved how Law didn't blame anything on Garrison and they were just so sexy in bed!! The next book should be spicy and I'm definitelty excited about reading it.

Series keeps getting better and better!!!

This was a good, lighthearted love story. I'm so glad I found this series.

Yay! Garrison!

I found this third book hard to care about the two main characters. The previous two installments in this series were much more engaging character-wise and storyline-wise. Too repetitive and not nearly enough plot exposition. Boring! Irritating! Disappointing! Lastly, the southern?? “accents” lacked authenticity.

Uncompelling Plot

The characters were a little too easy to fall in love. The Boston voice narrator was poor. It was hard to listen to. I should’ve skipped this one. The others in the series were great.

Meh.

I’m not sure if I thought the story was just meh or if it was the little things that annoyed that caused this rating. The nicknames again were awful! I was in the Navy and no SEAL is gonna let someone call them Sailor…lol! Also “Gar” with Chris Chambers terrible country accent just sounded like an unfinished word; it annoyed me.

I think Garrison and Lawson’s story and get together was good. The interaction, Garrison’s struggle with the relationship. The story itself wasn’t bad, just didn’t care for the performances and nicknames.
