Finally being allowed into the mind of Aeson is delightful and exciting. Think Midnight Sun, for those Twilight lovers. Getting to see the impending romantic and sexual attraction bloom from the perspective of the love interest is always worth it.

Knowing that the attraction bloomed for Aeson well before it did for Gwen only makes me love their relationship and the original book series more.

Excellent Addition, MUST READ

This brings together the other side of what had been happening in the Atlantis Grail series and explains so much! I highly recommend reading the entire series, with Aeson Black the frosting on the cake!

I didn’t like the voice that read the text. Not what I heard in my mind as I read the quartet of this series. But the content was great and a not unexpected view into Aeson’s thoughts.

As a big fan of The Atlantis Grail series, when I saw this book, I decided to listen to the series again and Aeson Blue and purchased Aeson Black.

Unfortunately, the book fell short. Yes, the author highlighted some of the bigger events in the series, but Aeson's perspective felt flat and disjointed to the events. There were so many other events and conversations with the atra daimon that would have added depth to the book. Unfortunately, I was not convinced in the love story. It could be because author intends to write individual astra daimon stories, but this book fell short. I might read Xel story, and hope for the best, but if things do not turn around, I will have to abandon.

The worst part of this audio book is the narrator. I was not a fan previously for Aeson Blue, but for this book he once again fell flat. I am not familiar so perhaps he does a great job elsewhere, but for this beloved character, he was a horrible choice sounding much too old, uninterested and flat.

Missed opportunities
