After spending my entire pro golfing career being known as the quiet, controlled, no-nonsense golfer on the tour, there's nothing more humiliating than throwing all of that down the drain on national television. Needing some place to hide, to lick my wounds and figure out what I even want to do with my life once this blows over, I can only think of one place I need to be. This is a really cute story, with a little bit of potty mouth and smut. If you don't mind those last two elements this is a really fun book. I laughed my head off in spots... I especially loved the part where the hero blurted out his secret embarrassment to comfort the heroine when her bestie over-shared hers.

There wasn't a bunch of manufactured drama and this was in general a very likeable couple.

I will forever look at blue slushies in a whole different light....

I love Tara Sivec books... but this one was a whiny diatribe. The male narrator was great! But the woman’s part was played with an angry emo tone and the last word of every sentence was dragged out—so annoying!

I listened to this because I was intrigued by a golfer rom com etc.. it started off good but then definitely got dragged out and was very frustrating to keep listening to. I did like the characters but jeepers. They are adults! Speak your mind. Anywho the narrators did well. Since this is a series I’m debating listening to more because I did like the characters for the most part. Just didn’t like the way these particular two handled things. It was frustrating.

I wanted to like this story way more, but with the talk of drvg use and all the back and forth of self guessing themselves and each other, was just painful and not in a good way.

Definitely a very slow burn, chapter eighteen for this pair to get any kind of reaction so, more than fifty percent of the book 📕

Anyway, not a bad story, but if you took out all the complaining & anger from Birdie you would have maybe 30% total left of this story

Story premise is good; however, the female character was a little annoying.

I am giving the performance 3 because the male narrator was good. if it was just the female narrator it would be a 1. The last word of every sentence was drawn out. At times, it was painful to listen to her.

Golf and romance? Would that be a book to listen to? Well yes, yes it would. Golf and sex...ummm yeah, that’s a hole in one 🏌🏻 Alright, puns aside, this was a cute and hot story. I mean I will look at those players on screen a little differently when the hubby watches it and I usually nap.

Gotta love Tim And Kelsey narrating together, they just work!

Binged this and loved every second. This book and performance are everything I love about romance novels. The first golf book I’ve listened to and I loved it!! I listen to a lot of audiobooks - and this is my next series I’m going to devour! 1000% worth the credit! This is free on KU so worth the discounted whispersync price since it’s less than a credit! 👏
