Now, eight years later, she's on a mission - a mission to find the mysterious house from her youth and the monsters who dwell inside it.

Probably one of my favorite books I’ve listened to. Hooked from the first minute. Narration is smooth. The book navigates seamlessly.

The tears I sobbed for the child in this story. Dear Gussy, I couldn’t function or do anything until I finished this book. Every fear and heartbreak was my own. Amazingly written and I think it will haunt me forever. 10000/10.

I thought this book was well written. The twist was great. It really got me and I love when that happens. The narrator's voice was too lackadaisical for such a subject but increasing the speed to 1.10 really helped

This was a book I could not put down. It involves trafficking, kidnapping, teens, and addiction. It is a rough read at times, but it has a "happy ending". I wanted to keep reading to know what happened. Highly recommend
