The shift has hit the fan!

Marzie is in crisis! This witch is unsure about what to do or how to do it. Every flick of the wand could lead to a disaster for the people she loves. Marzie is heading into hiding with her favorite werewolf. But the pull of Widow's Bay and her responsibilities to her coven and her family are strong. Marzie will learn the reason why intermittent casting is a very bad idea.

Join Marzie and her town of Yooper Naturals, snarky cats, and handsome vampires in this book that takes a page from the ancient history of Widow's Bay to save the vampires and shifters she loves.

5/5 It just gets BETTER and BETTER!!!!

NO SPOILER – that would spoil your journey.____

I have read / listened to books 1-6. All are written well, characters are now my friends, and the setting is home to me. (I’m a troll that lived in the UP every summer until I was in my 20’s. This made Widow’s Bay series closer to my heart)

IN THIS SERIES—you will be dealing with murders and the solving of them----But more. The interaction of characters in this setting is amazing! It could be called magical. LOL! You will love the story and hate those few who are always there to cause CHAOS and HARM. A JOY TO LISTEN TO.

Also, a thank you to Traci Odom for a fantastic narration.

ANOTHER ENJOYABLE READ

RELATABLE CHARACTERS, EVEN IF THEY ARE UBERNATURALS, INTERESTING STORYLINES, AND A VERY PLEASANT NARRATOR MAKE THIS BOOK/SERIES ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE. I HAVE BOOK 7 PRE-ORDERED ANS CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT IS NEXT FOR MARZIE, ETIENNE, SAM, JOE, AND ALL THE OTHERS WHO CALL WIDOW BAY HOME.

Another winner

Rebecca Regnier and Traci Odom have done it again. Ms. Regnier has continued her original series with all the humor and mystery as witnessed her the previous installments. Traci Odom brings it all to life with her stellar performance.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to cozy mystery fans.

Starts out great, then gets too serious

This book was well constructed, weaving fictional history with fictional present. It gave a good background to which is referred in previous books. This book is much more serious than the previous ones. Perhaps because of these politically charged times, I felt as though I were reading a commentary on2020-2021. This is not necessarily a negative thing, unless like me one is looking for a break from all that. I confess I tired of it and skimmed the last 2-3 chapters.
