This is the perfect vehicle for a re-read of one of my favorite series.

Dual-style narration

Melissa Moran is an excellent choice for Violet and she plays the MMC parts well. I’m still not sold on Shaun Grindell.

The H storyline gets repetitive with the same roadblocks but it does make for a slow burn.

Loved the plot twists!!! Still obsessed with the story line and the perfection provided by the narrators!!! Immediately on to the next book!!! Already sad at the thought of finishing this series and hoping with all my heart that this author has another genius series for me to read.

This whole time I thought Violet's mom was Eden. So violet was literally just made to be a weapon damn and her mother is nothing but a secretive liar who is controlling her.

this series is amazing. I love these kind of stories even though it's not just much sex in them the story makes up for it. But when the sex happens OH BABY! is 🔥🔥.

Why does this series have to be so ridiculously interesting, original and imaginative?

It's impossible to put down even though It truly sickens me when violet gets all horny when those disgusting men degrade her. She's extremely stupid and refuses to have any common sense. Almost like she's purposely blinding herself to reality. I want nothing more than to tell her that she gives women everywhere a bad name. It is certainly true that she's just a snowball rolling downhill, a woman who allows anybody to do anything to her to break her apart without even the semblance of a fight. I do see a harder core to her then she portrays, I just hope someday she actually uses it.
It also upsets me that Kristy Cunning thinks it's okay to portray that woman enjoy being both emotionally and physically abused.
Grindell's voice has certainly grown on me since the first book. It turns out he just has a voice you have to get used to before you can hear him differentiating characters.
