It’s good to listen to a book where the main characters are athletes. There could have been more to the story though. Perhaps a second book is needed to make this a series.

There aren't enough lesbian, sports audio books! When I saw this title while browsing on audible I decided to give it a try but was a little disappointed. It was OK but the writing wasn't that great, the dialogue wasn't very witty, and the golfer's dad was an asshole... Also the narrator was just OK. There were times I couldn't tell the main characters apart. I finished the book but wasn't very impressed.

So, yeah, it’s a bit sappy. And a bit predictable. And almost too good to be true.... But done so skillfully that rather than a bored yawn it’s an absolute delight.

I liked it... a lot.

Every time I listen to this my heart flutters and I cry at a certain happy point in the story. This was well narrated by Melissa Moran.
