What made the experience of listening to The Body Fat Solution the most enjoyable?
I've struggled with weight all my life. Although I have brief periods of good weight and training habits, I have been unable to keep the weight. This has been due to several reasons: lack of motivation for exercise (I hate sports), lack of focus and self motivation when it comes to diet and finally a confusion around which "diet" works best. So I've been experimenting with everything from low-carb, "raw food", vegan and even fasting. The secret is that almost all of these diet programs ("weird stuff" as Tom Venuto would call them) work! At least for a while, and Tom explains why that is but also why they are not long-term solutions.This book changed everything for me, which is weird since I thought of myself as a true expert in all the details of nutrition and weight loss. It combines the best and most truthful facts and best practices into a very straight-forward method that is easy to embrace. It helps to change habits and patterns instead of promising a quick-fix. Also the book is very inspirational and boosted my self confidence and motivation.
So all in all, I've literally thrown out all other books on the subject and read The Body Fat Solution three times now, so happy that I found it.
