A pretty cool series

definitely a great fun series so far every book has been well worth it . i gave this one only 4 stars for story because it wasnt as solid an had alot of young kid sexual content type shit that wasnt needed in the detail it had it took away from the gore an head smashing but it is what it is .

When you can feel what the characters are feeling like in these books it becomes more than worth the time and money

Battles and Legacies collide

Jessie is doing what most adult, seasoned men don't, won't or can't do; he is out rescuing those who need help evading not only the hordes of the undead but the two armies determined to rule the world in their own image, oppossing each other yet working toward a similar goal.
Jessie has rescued Scarlet who is having trouble reconciling her growing feelings for the very boy she once saved and the man he has become, the man she was sent kill. Jessie has his own mixed feelings about her, knowing she is part of the Anubis cult that can control Zombies. With the Anubis warriors stronger and faster than a normal person but completely under the control of the "Lord of the Underworld" they now search for him, determined to locate and kill him.
Jessie is having his own trust issues with her, knowing who she is and what her mission is. But Scarlet is seeing a diffent side of this new world, seeing Jessie risking his life for others expecting nothing in return. She is also coming to grips with her growing feelings for him the longer she stays with him. Jessie is also at odds with his own feelings for her as they recover from their own battles.
Meanwhile after a failed assasination attempt on Casey, Gunny, Griz and their tearm are fighting to get across the border with Casey and his Cannibals hot on their trail, thwarted at every turn.
The action is fast, exhausting with a touch of humor thrown in as well as flaring tempers, indecision and a hell of a lot of running and fighting.
Great continuation to the Zombie Road series. So looking forward to the next one.
And as usual narrated beautifully by Eric A Shelman.

A truly great zombie series

A truly great zombie series continues. I have not written reviews for each book but I can tell you they are all great. I love zombie stories and this series is one of the best. start with book one and just keep going. you will not be disappointed.

Best zombie apocalypse story

As a huge apocalypse fan I can’t say enough good things about this series! If you are going to listen to any series I recommend this one be at the top of your list.

I was so upset when it ended!!

I have at least 30 zombie books in my library, I have left reviews for the ones I really liked and always said they were one of the best I have read, for the first time I am going to say this is the best series I have read so far!! The narrater was superb and the characters were written so well you loved or hated them like you knew them! As soon as the book ended I sent David Simpson, who I think would be so much fun to hang out with, an email asking when book 6 will be on audible. If you already read the first 4 books you know how good the series is and if you haven’t go read them from the beginning, they are well worth it!!

I'm just really glued to this series, I rate it next to my favorite "zombie fallout" and that's saying a lot
