Publisher's summary

At the end of the world, the zombies are not the scariest monsters. Something evil and vile now hides among the sheep seeking to devour its very heart.

Pastor Mike Brown and his wife, Lauren, are loved by the congregation of the church that rose from the ashes of the zombie apocalypse. But a dark secret, if discovered, could destroy everything.

As Guntersville Island’s fledgling government attempts to solve the mystery of a growing number of missing children, it must ask some hard questions about the messianic leader.

Meanwhile, on the Viva Ancora, Mo, Smokes, and the remainder of the main protagonists continue their trip toward the sea in search of a possible cure. Meeting new friends and foes along the way is, of course, a given: not to mention Mo’s constant complaining.

Will evil win control of paradise? Who can stop its sadistic hunger? Do we need a Hero? Is that a pig?

It’s the end of the world as we know it. Join us, friend. In places where the zombies bite...fish bite...life always bites...and some people bite.

Welcome to Zombie Perdition.

Zombie Perdition

"No matter how twisted they may be called, a select few can be captivated by nearly anything." I am proud to say that I am one of the select few!

This book continues the saga of a group of survivors after an event that is turning people into bluenatics, zombie-like reanimated dead with blue skin. As with the previous six books, the author has created a great group of characters who continue to entertain readers of all ages. It is a typical zompoc book in a lot of ways, complete with villains who want to rule the world, cannibals who don't care who they eat, and plenty of blood and gore.

But, this series is also very, very different in a lot of ways. "Perhaps everything is set to a script." Some of the characters are beginning to wonder if their lives are just part of a screenplay and they have no control of their destiny.

I love the way that Mr. Bonds incorporates pop culture references throughout his books, with his main characters wearing the costumes of such characters as Indiana Jones, Star Wars Clone Troopers, Robocop, and various others from Star Trek and Marvel comics.

There are laugh out loud moments in this book (as with all of the books in this series), so I would advise that it is NSFW. However, if the idea of a peevie (another term for the zombies) getting tangled up in the strings of a tarp and then proceeding to stand up and try to walk, all while being described as an olive colored burrito gives you a laugh, this series would be a good fit for you!

Definitely not politically correct in any way, this is a thoroughly entertaining book that will keep you laughing throughout. And, Mr. Bonds is still the champion at writing very descriptive, unique and gruesome scenes for the death of his minor characters. I look forward to the further adventures of this great cast of misfits as they try to survive the Zompoc.

Even though I first read the ebooks in this series, I also listen to the audiobook version. I rarely do this with other books, but the talent of Javan Bonds combined with the talent of the narrator, S.W. Salzman, is just too awesome to miss! When I read the ebook, I automatically read it in the voices that Mr. Salzman has created for this cast of characters. To me, the two have become intertwined forever!

Zombie Perdition

This is the 7th book in the series and it keeps getting better and better! Love Mo and all the original characters continuing on in the zombie apocalypse. Javon Bonds finds a way to add comedy and humor to a zombie apocalypse series like no one else! A well written and entertaining book. Perfect narration by S. W. Salzman

hilarious listen

This was an interesting listen. Well written and hilarious. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this book I don't feel like I got enough of Mo. The narrator did an excellent job with all the intonations and accents.

You know it's good when you

almost spit out your soda from laughing so hard. This book of course has Zombies and gore and excitement but most of all, it'll make you laugh unless you have no sense of humor
