great book, thank you!

Very enjoyable and helpful. A lot of information so, I will have to listen to it a couple of times, at least, as well as take notes.

Most Helpful Audio I’ve Ever Listened To

Don’t judge a book by its title! I think the title is unfortunate, because I think it will turn a lot of people off. It would have turned me away except for Howie’s interview on Rip Esselstyn’s podcast. When I tell people I am reading it (of course I don’t mention the subtitle, who does?) they look at me like there is something wrong with me. Haha. All that said, fantastic info. I bought the hard copy book and have my husband on board to read it with me.

Great book! Practical and easily to action immediately

This book is one of the most impactful ones I have read. Peter and Howie do an amazing job of taking a complex topic, and not only simplifying it, but really making it practical. What I love about this book is that the authors do a masterful job of balancing deeply understanding peoples' emotions with providing actionable guidance that can help you to build the muscle to really understand others and enroll them in change. Highly recommend you to get this book and really practice the wisdom in it.

Healthy Conversations!

This is so well written and executed! Simple enough, laid out explanatory lists of questions and procedures that almost anyone can follow.

Been looking for a book like this for a while

I’ve been looking for a book like this for a while it magically appeared.

The big aha (spoiler alert) is the subtle difference around change - the pivotal point being when they are ready / want to change.

This small but key point would change the entire dynamic and I am so grateful for the authors to write and publish this key point

I am sure it will make a huge difference and I can’t wait to try it out

Additionally the framework steps outlined in the book I look forward to seeing and trying them in action

Practical dos and don’ts for change partners

I enjoyed the practical perspectives and the threads of dialog with optional realistic pathways, and the reasons why they would or would not work. Recommended for any change leaders and professional coaches.

Too repetitive

Wanted examples for relationships and family, but they just used the same work example over and over again
