Publisher's summary

Nothing in life is free - even life itself.

After a split-second decision that gave her a second chance at life, Timberlyn struggles to control her new instincts as her life spins out of control. Her newly awakened hunger takes over, and she has to decide if she made the right choice, after all.

She may have saved her life, but every day is a struggle not to lose herself. Cut off from her family and the wolves, she takes solace in her friendship with Svana and Viktor, despite their hatred for the Wolf boys. But will Alarick despise her when he finds out the truth?

When she returns for her third year at Ravenwood Academy, everything is different. Her friends. Her status. Her link with the wolves. Now bound to Jonathan Ravenwood, she must fight harder than ever to carve out her own path and fight for what’s right.

This book concludes the Ravenwood Academy trilogy, a YA urban fantasy adventure filled with slow-burn romance, friendship, and mystery.

A wild ride, with some answers & more questions

This is the third and final novel in the Ravenwood Academy trilogy of young adult paranormal mystery by Lena Mae Hill. The series should be read in order. It’s fun and exciting, so I do recommend it to fans of this genre.

Our main character, Timberlyn, experiences some dramatic changes in this story and has a lot of growing up to do. We also get a chance to learn more about her friends and family.

The story was entertaining and easily held my interest. There’s a bit of a love triangle here, and also a suggestion of fated mates. The plot is interesting, with interspecies tensions and conflicting goals straining relationships, and plenty of surprises revealed. My main disappointment is that while this book answers some of the questions posed throughout this trilogy, it leaves many questions still unanswered. I wanted more resolution for these characters.

There are a couple of steamy scenes, though nothing too graphic. Be prepared for violence and know that some characters die heartbreaking deaths. This is not a “happily ever after” kind of story.

I really enjoyed the narration by Vanessa Moyen. Her performance was well paced and easy to understand, and I love her character voices. I think this is a great choice for listening.

I was provided a free review copy of this audiobook by the author via StoryOrigin; I volunteered to provide an honest review.

noooo not him!!!!😳😢😭😭😭😭😭😭

the book started off so good. timberlyn becoming a vampire and shes still a werewolf , WTF then she loses Alarick and the pack, shocker right. but finds herself with the vamps now. then a game change she ends up back with her pack, and goes on a adventure to find her real family on the way some of the wolfs find there mates which is super exciting for them. she meets her mother and 12 sisters, then I takes a tune then ending so so sad she loses people that are close to her heart ❤, that its so heartbreaker 💔 😢, there's a part where one gives his life for her to be happy, now that was the most heartbreaking moment for me. that I still can't stop crying. I didn't want this person to go, I wish this person didn't leave. all in all this series was really good I recommend you read or listen to it. you will enjoy these books 📚 😊

A 4 1/2 star read

Year Three: Wolf Song (Ravenwood Academy, #3), my third read/listen from author Lena Mae Hill. 5-hours 26-minute/339-page listen. I was given an Audible copy of this book and I'm voluntarily reading & reviewing it. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it. Narrator Vanessa Moyen's narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I look forward to reading more from this author and I definitely need to read Ravenwood Academy, #3! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Raven Academy!

Wolf Song (Ravenwood Academy, Year Three) is the final book in this trilogy. Im sad to see it end. I loved everything about it including the character's and plot twists. Jam packed with intrigue, suspense, and dabbles of romance. A highly entertaining ending to a fabulous series.

Vanessa Moyen flawless performance was just perfect. Her intonation fits the character's age. She brings out all the emotions and performs the character's.

Loved the performance and the story together.

Year three - Ravenwood Academy

This is book 3 in Hill's Ravenwood Academy and while it could be a stand along I think you will for sure get the most from this read if this series is read in order. Timberlyn's back for year three at Ravenwood Academy and things are not what they once were for her. Struggling to find her place once again she is torn between two groups - the wolves and the vamps and she can relate to them both. Trying to keep the peace between these two has never been easy and is even harder now. Timberlyn will find her place - in more ways than just wolves or vamps and so many sacrifices will be made. A great read / listen - well written, wonderful storyline and flow - packs a punch! Narration was beautifully done. I hope this is not the end of Timberlyn's story...looking forward to more!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Overall Good Pranormal YA Academy Series

I enjoyed the world the series is set in and the characters. There is plenty of action and suspense through out. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. I feel that the ending wrapped up too quickly and left some questions unanswered. but overall this is a good paranormal YA Academy series.

Sad to see the end of Timberlyn

When Timberlyn wakes up a vampire she is glad to still be alive, but not so glad to have to lock herself away until she leaks to control her blood lust. It takes her the entire summer and when she finally is ready to see Alarick again things don't go as she hoped. It seems she will not a member of the wolf pack any longer and Alarick no longer considers her his mate. She also has the creepy Mr Ravenwood to deal with and he knows about her seer talent. He plans to use it for his own purposes - like world domination and the like. Fortunately, she has Svana, Victor, and Amy to hang with but she still misses Alarick. When a full moon rises and she awakens from a dream that shows her that Svana only befriended her at Mr Ravanwood's direction, she follows her instincts to shift and join the pack for their full moon run.

There is a lot that happens after this, but I don't want to spoil it for you so just read it! I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Great read and conclusion to series!

I really enjoyed this story. This is the conclusion to the series and it has quite a bit happening. Timberlyn has another major change happen to her that throws her whole third year into turmoil. She is now a vampire along with being a wolf and it causes her issues. She has to deal with Jonathan Ravenwood and learning that the vamps all have to report to him what is going on at the school. Jonathan Ravenwood wants to use her abilities to foresee things with her dreams. I liked the journey that Timberlyn went on in this installment. I liked the way that she stayed true to herself the entire time. Even with everything thrown at her she didn't change who she was and what she wanted to do. Timberlyn is absolutely a leader and I love the way that she continues to make the hard choice and help everyone who is willing to take it. I highly recommend reading the previous two books as they all follow and build off of one another. There was plenty of action and intrigue and a lot of heart strings pulled at the end of the story. There were definitely some twists that I didn't entirely see coming. There were a lot of hard things that happened and while things are tied up for the main characters I could see a spin off series. I would enjoy a spin off series for the rest of the pack and mates but not sure if that is going to happen and the way it ended, it does not have to.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
