An excellent start to a new series

Tracy Lorraine is queen of cliffhangers. I hate her, I love her. Her followers have been waiting, what seems like forever, for Stella's story. I read it first, now I've listened to it! I am NOT disappointed. This is one of my favorite series of Tracy's. It's been perfect to listen to right after listening to LEGEND!

I love how this is different from her other high school bully romances. She's got a couple different tropes going on with adding in the mafia. She listed the triggers. This is dark. It causes my heart to beat out of my chest. Even the second time around. At this point I hate Seb, but I'm cracking. The twist I didn't see coming! That cliffhanger! Cannot wait for the next book!

James Joseph and Stella Hunter are fantastic narrators. James has so many characters to voice and he does it well! I'm in awe. His voice is deep and hypnotic. Stella has a smooth voice that makes listening for long periods easy. These are some new favorite narrators. Perfection.

Loved this! Definitely recommend listening to the prequel before this. Enemies/hate to not as severe enemies/hate "lovers"? He's a bit stalkerish and she's a badass. Holy sh*t that cliffhanger! 🤯 never saw THAT coming.

Solid 4.5 stars! Spoilers ahead!!

The ONLY reason this was not a 5 was how badly Stella allowed Seb to walk all over her and treat her like dirt. Then say oh well, I AM a whore so it’s okay…I’m no. She did not make him grovel AT ALL for his treatment of her and it really turned me off. That was my only gripe. Now, onto the good stuff:
This story grabbed me right from the get go (I started with the prequel and boy was it 🔥🔥!! My introduction to Seb & Stella was a fury smack in the face! I was so curious to see where in the heck it would lead and once some questions were answered, new ones popped up to take their place. The twists and turns kept me going and I couldn’t put this down. A must read and yes, it ended with a cliff hanger but thankfully this trilogy portion of this series is done and I can immediately find out what the heck happened to Stella at the end there!
The narrators took a moment to get used to as I’m American but once I did? Omg I LOVED them! They really made the book. Both Stella Hunter and James Joseph will be narrators I look forward to hearing!

I really loved this mafia love story . It was crazy , sexy and dangerous all wrapped up in one book at the same time . I would recommend this book to other readers.

I love this entire series. James Joseph and Stella Hunter in duet narration are fantastic.

I'm looking forward to the final (I don't want it end 😭) books. I had no idea what to expect when I got the first book when it came out and was leary of a dark seriss with teen characters in 🌶️🌶️🌶️ scenes but it's become one of my favorites. James Joseph does such a wonderful job with all of characters and Stella Hunter is perfect with all the the different accents and styles. They are amazing voice actors, and Tracy Lorraine wrote an amazing, weaving, entralling plot with hot, hot, HOT scenes. Read the TWs, because there's lot of 'em for some people. I'm currently re-listening the entire series out currently while chomping at the bit for the last books, and also because I needed to hear the voices of two of my comfort narrators.

I freaking loved listening to Seb and Stella’s story. The narrators did an amazing job bringing this story to life and I can not wait to listen to the next one! Stella and Seb are both twisted and I can not get enough of them.

Wicked Knight

Wicked Knight is the first book in the Knight's Ridge Empire. This book is the first book in Stella and Sebastian's story and is told from their points of view. We met Stella and Sebastian in the short story Wicked Summer Knight. They have one night in a cemetery and it's steamy. However once Sebastian found out Stella's last name he had flipped to hating her.

Now Stella is new to his school and Sebastian is not happy to see her. He wants to make her life hectic and wants her to pay he feels someone in her family did to him.

Stella is strong and fights against those that wrong her, however, she falls for Sebastian. Can she fight against the pull she has to Sebastian? Or will he pull her in?

I loved the banter and the push and pull between Stella and Sebastian and I can't wait to see where these two characters go in the next book.

Hot hot stuff..

Dame.. this book did not disappoint at all. Loved the story, the plot and angst was really nicker melting for sure. Loved that it was mid pondy.. the narration was really good.. love love Stella Hunter. She does an amazing job with the all her narrations.. and james wow.. sexy hunky voice.. love love love..
