Ryan and Jameson are total opposite but the Heat between them is on fire!
The story is engaging and the characters are compelling! can't wait to listen to book 2 !

Amazing listen!

I just absolutely love listening to this amazing story! Ryan and Jameson's chemistry is off the charts HOT! Ella Frank definitely doesn't disappoint. Then Charlie David does an amazing job with this narration. I love reading this story but listening to this story made me love this story even more. I can't wait for the next book.

Who Saves Who?

Gah! I absolutely love books where the characters stick with you long after the last page. Even a week later after reading their story, I still had Ryan and Jameson rattling around in my head. I loved their story so much so, that I knew this was going to be a must listen when it came out. When I saw it was Charlie David, I couldn’t purchase this fast enough. Once again Charlie did a fantastic job bringing the characters that Ella writes to life. Charlie sucked me right back into their story as if it was brand new to me. He did such a wonderful job with the ups and downs, the sexy times, the action and all the moments in between. Ryan and Jameson’s story just drew me in and wouldn’t let go. I loved how they first met and how their relationship grew. We had previously met Ryan in The Prime Time series, and I was so excited when we found out he’d be getting his story. Ryan has such a huge heart. Jameson is such a complex man, and I love how Ryan wants to be so present for Jameson. Jameson tries to put out a gruff exterior, but it was wonderful seeing his heart soften towards Ryan. I loved how their relationship turned to more, and the steamy sexy times they shared. That first kiss…holy hotness!! Along the way I was ecstatic to visit with some of my favorite characters in Ella’s Chicagoverse. I’m super eager to see how part two of their story unfolds!

Wicked Heat: Wickedly Good

This book represents the most “accessible” story in the recent Chicago-verse series. Neither of the main characters is a millionaire, a celebrity, or company president. Ryan and Jameson are just two hard working men from very different backgrounds struggling to reconcile their feeling for one another with their pasts and presents. The feelings they have for one another are incredibly strong, and even in the face of drama and baggage, they’re unable to walk away from one another. The big question is: how will they go forward?“ We’ll have to wait until book 2 in the series comes out to see how the story ends!
Kudos to Ella Frank four an outstanding job of developing cute characters we’ve met and other stories so wonderfully and Foley. A shout out to Charlie David for a fabulous job narrating.

I listened to this in audio just this week and I really enjoyed it! Charlie David was super enjoyable being the narrator for this one - his voice for Jameson was spot on. Cannot wait for part two of this b/c I need some more of the Grump and GQ!

This time we have Ryan - who is Alexander's PA, and Jameson, the newbie at the fire department that Kieran recently left, and I absolutely love how they came to meet and continued to meet from there.

If you're a fan of grumpy/sunshine, opposites, kinda a Lady and the Tramp vibe, with characters who have wonderful chemistry together, you should definitely read the newest book from Ella Frank!

Wicked Heat

This is the first book in the Chicago Heat series. Ryan has always been attracted to a hero. Jameson is the firefighter that started working at Kieran Bailey’s old firehouse. Jameson is from the rough side of town and doesn’t open up to people easily. Ryan and his friend stumbled into a bar on the wrong side of town. Jameson came to Ryan’s aid, pretending to be his boyfriend. Then they met again when Jameson answered Ryan’s add for a new roommate. They tried to stay just roommates/ friends but they both were drawn towards each other. To much sexual tension to escape. I know these to will work things out. This book ends on a small cliffy. Charlie David did a fantastic job narrating this book.
