TOO TECHNICAL- NOT SIMPLE AT ALL

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you want in depth scientific details about what is in food and how it is needed for well being, this could help. But if you are looking for a simple dietery plan to go vegan, and lose weight, this is not it. I have eaten semi- vegan for 20 years, and this book would scare off anyone, because it makes being vegan sound really complicated. I was hoping for more simple approach, like basics of what to eat in general, and very little time in book was devoted to simply giving meal guidance. I would say, just stick to rice and beans, take a vitamin D supplement 1-2,000 a day, and B complex vitamin daily, and if you need a protein boost, eat an organic egg a couple times a week, from farm raised uncaged outdoor chickens. Rice and beans and legumes are a good basic in general. Other than that, I got no other ideas from this book.

Not sure. I did not enjoy her voice. It was too high pitched.

GREAT guide for vegans !

What made the experience of listening to Weight Loss for Vegans the most enjoyable?

As an overweight vegetarian, I had a hard time finding good diet guides, because most of them include animal products. I was very lucky when I found this audio book, because it gave me exactly what I needed: great health and weight loss advice for vegetarians. Since I am practising tips provided by the author of the book, I lost 17lbs (in just 2 weeks) and I feel much more energetic. This vegan diet approach is easy to follow and I recommend it to all vegetarians.

An informative, well written book

This highly informative, easy to understand and follow book written by author Charles Thornton will help make losing weight an attainable goal. The book also provides the formula for BMR. I have found this book to be a great source, its helpful, and a great approach to weight loss.

Vegans are you ready for an amazing treat?

What did you love best about Weight Loss for Vegans?

This is a very compressive quite that will entice the taste buds in a unique and original way that is not for the faint of heart. Author Charles Thornton has created in a step - by - step guide that will enthrall the imagination and sense in a fabulous way that personally feel is lifechanging as well as profound in nature.

I never new that it would only take 3 months for an individual to get rid of all of the bad cells and replace them with good nutritious good cells. Then again this is not your ordinary weight loss audiobook. It is filled with valuable information that you will want to listen too over and over again until it simply becomes a way of life. In short, I personally feel better and have a new found energy that I had long feared been gone.

If your looking to loose weight, build energy to get through the day and really don't have the tim to sit down and read a book then this is the way to go. I listened to it in my car on the way to work and frankly wanted to circle the parking lot a few times before getting out.

5 Stars for Author Charles Thornton and a world of thanks for putting together this amazing Audio Book for all of us to enjoy.

In less than two hours I felt armed with valuable info regarding weight loss. As someone who switched back to an “almost Vegan” (I’m not quite there totally yet) eating lifestyle about two years ago, I found my weight zip upwards. Not a lot but definitely more than I planned. In talking with an acquaintance she too had experienced the same thing but even more weight gain.
This audio book gave me a solid game plan and also motivation regarding a plan to continue on with my Vegan eating habits yet take off the extra pounds that I put on. I now know why I gained those pounds and how to ensure it doesn’t occur again.
Great book. Not boring at all and lots of solid info. Definitely recommend!

Slow and steady wins the race

If you could sum up Weight Loss for Vegans in three words, what would they be?

slow and steady

What was one of the most memorable moments of Weight Loss for Vegans?

I liked the section on "the practice". I have been vegetarian my entire life, and my parents have been vegan for a few years now. The only think keeping me vegetarian and not vegan is cheeeessseeee. I love CHEESE.

Which character – as performed by Linda Cee – was your favorite?

I liked her soft and slow reading voice. She was easy to listen to and retain all the information.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Any additional comments?

I am excited to take the next step and transition from vegetarian to vegan. There really isn't to much of a difference, just switching my cheese for soy cheese. I am glad this book was out there to help guide me and give me advise. I have gained a lot of weight (yes you can get a ton of weight weather or not you eat meat or your vegan if you eat a ton of SUGAR and deserts. They were so good and it's been hard to stop "letting" myself have a desert after every mean (lunch and dinner). Almost like the meal is required to have a desert, and you may not have a veggie but desert will still be there.

Intelligent Thinking

Would you consider the audio edition of Weight Loss for Vegans to be better than the print version?

I prefer the audio edition as I use it as a relaxation tool in the evening

Hard to compare it to, for some reason weight loss diets are not targeted at vegans. So glad this has been dealt with in such an intelligent way.

The intonation ensures you focus on the correct parts of the book

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment when you realize that it takes time, 3 months, to replace all the bad with the good. Self realization is always the most moving part of any book
