Publisher's summary

A village, a murder, a keen-eyed sleuth.

In a quiet Dartmoor village, Dan Corrigan is a fish out of water. He's also a damned good sleuth.

When a murder is committed, Dan won’t stand idly by.

He's determined to solve the mystery, whatever the risks. The murderer must not go unpunished. Justice must be done. But first, Dan must untangle a web of deceit, because in this rural valley, the river runs deep, but the lies run deeper still.

There's more to Dartmoor than meets the eye.

Good mystery

Really enjoyed the story, it’s plot and the characters. Kept me engaged and had a few twists. Well done

Excellent, well done, love these characters

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Good, clean writing, and thoroughly entertaining. The main culprit may become obvious about half way through the book, but other villains are involved, and the red herrings are delightful. I especially like an author that finishes the story after the arrest. I like to know what happens to the others in the story.

Meh - not a page turner - listen.

Was hoping it would be a fun series like Cherringham. Dialogue is juvenile and the performance contributes to the two grown men sounding like naive 16 year old schoolmates. A distracting combination. Wont be recommending.
