Humble, kind and inspiring

I loved this book! I’ve always been drawn to Chrishell and I think it’s her humble, honest nature that draws you in. I appreciate that she didn’t try to overcomplicate her story in any way, she was just real and have applicable advice to be kind but not be pushed around. I couldn’t put this book down and I’ll definitely be revisiting it soon!

Relatable, inspiring and heart warming like herself

Dear Chrishell, I got interested in your story after watching my favorite show Selling Sunset. I love it because it’s about powerful, successful and beautiful woman! You are my favorite character because you are so sweet and kind( I didn’t know you have Asian blood until I read your book which makes sense now why I like your look the most because I’m Asian too) Anyway I want to thank you for selflessly and bravely share your personal story with us! You were so vulnerable and honest about your humble beginnings that it really shocked me and inspired me how it is possible to achieve big dreams even when you have nothing! It taught me to cherish what I have and not create any more excuses to not move towards my goals, no matter how impossible it may sound. So I am really touched when listening to your own voice narrating your journey! I pray that you manifest the love and family you desire because you are a rock star!! Hope to see you in another show!

Binged I’m one afternoon

I love Chrishell. For me she’s a role model, a successful woman who has fought for everything she has and she is today. Loved her story, her ups and downs. Her advice is also good and easily applicable to my own life . It is also extra especial that the book is read by her :).

What I needed to hear

Beautiful book and I love that Chrishell read it! Truly uplifting and a great way for me to kick off the new year. I watched Chrishell on Selling Sunset where I became interested in her story. Her book was already out by the time I watched the show. As someone who is forging their own path and healing from the past, this was definitely a wonderful listen. Empowering and reinforcing that you need to forgive the past and carry on.

Like having a cup of coffee with Chrishelle.

Chrishelle is my favorite character on Selling Sunset so I didn’t want to just read hee boom, I wanted to hear her read it and tell her story. I listened while on a road trip and it felt like I was sitting down for a long coffee date with an old friend to catch up. It’s a true rags to riches story but I love how humble she still remains with keeping family first.

Very enjoyable listen

I was introduced to Chrishelle via Selling Sunset and purchased this audio because on the show she always radiated genuine scrappy/glam energy. It’s very endearing.

This book was entertaining, thoughtful, and very sweet. Although, I was hoping for more tea on the realities (finances, networking, etc.) of a Hollywood career.

I appreciate the way she recounts her impoverished, eclectic childhood full of love and angst. I can totally relate!

Best wishes to Chrishelle.
