Publisher's summary

Two necromancers, a dragon, and a vampire - it sounds like a shortcut to disaster, and for Timmy, it’s certainly looking that way.

To earn his pardon and avoid becoming yet another necromancer statistic, Timmy has to work for the Council. From bandit uprisings to giant sea serpents and ogre invasions, Timmy and the others are there to save the day - sort of.

And despite relying on overly intelligent ninja rats, an elf who believes that fire is the answer to everything, a bureaucrat who struggles to stay conscious through an entire fight, and a precocious apprentice who has designs on his castle, property damage per mission is down, they haven’t blown up another mountain, and they’ve gone several missions without ripping a hole in reality.

Naturally, it won’t last.

When the dragon egg their resident pyromaniac stole hatches to reveal the world’s cuddliest harbinger of death, Timmy and the others are dragged into a pair of diabolically dangerous missions. Breaking out of one of the world’s most secure prisons was hard enough. Now, they have to break back in to rescue a vampire.

And then there’s the Eye of the Abyss. Does your country have a problem with a divine artefact capable of singlehandedly winning a war? Don’t worry. Just send Timmy and the gang. They’ll handle it, and Timmy might even get to live every necromancer’s dream with - zombie pirates.

Timmy and the others want their pardons, and they’re not going to let anyone stop them, not armies, not fleets, not even the most powerful empire the world has ever seen that just so happens to hold a centuries-old grudge against Everton.

The world is going to learn a very important lesson: never, ever underestimate a necromancer with a shovel and time to plan.

Hilarious listening!

LG Estrella has a wonderful sense of humor & writing skills to match! This has become one of my favorite series. With well developed characters and plot lines that follow one book to the next. it is a great way to unwind and enjoy a bit of downtime.

Been loving these stupid stories ^-^

Simple classic story tropes.
Think the Princess bride with necromancers
The heroes are never in real danger it's like Saturday morning cartoons ^-^ I would have truly loved these 20 years ago.

I really loved listening to this Audiobook! The story was so exciting to listen to - super creative, very adventurous, and even funny! I absolutely loved the narrator, who did such an amazing job portray all of the characters in such a seamless and effortless manner! His amazing talents took my mind on such an exciting adventure - that I could see the scenes come to life in my mind! The narrator had me so engaged into the story, that I found myself often laughing out loud as he brought all of the special characters to life with their very own unique personalities!!

Fun! Eye-roll Worthy!

Listen to this when you need a snarky, lightly mirthful book.

The series starts with a freeby (free is good!), books 1 & 2. I like the character development as it comes across as natural progression.

The reader does a phenomenal job; his tone of voice does a great job of communicating the emotions of the characters. Tied in with the quality of the story just makes this a fun book. Enjoy!

Surprised… in a good way!

This came across my feed as a suggestion. I’m a big fan of Dungeon Crawler Carl and I’m waiting for the new one. Now I’m hooked on this one.

Fantastic. Very entertaining.

The author and the narrator deliver in this episode fantasy tale. I love how the characters are mundane yet incredibly powerful. The story has humor and heart and the narrator brings it all out.

Solid Narrator to book match

Fun series, liked this entry, glad I found it on Plus catalog.

The underlying concept is quite macabre, but delivered in a funny way.
