Publisher's summary

Kai Merlin is heir to her mother’s throne in Atlantis, and she takes her duties seriously, but lately her mind has been on her fiancée Vivien Palmer. After a chance encounter when they were children, meeting again and falling in love proved to be fate, but melding their worlds as they plan their wedding isn’t going to be easy.

Vivien has spent her life searching for the secrets she’d always known were hidden beneath the waves, but nothing prepared her for what Kai and her people had successfully kept hidden for eons. She finally has a sense of belonging, but unseen enemies will stop at nothing to conquer and destroy their world - including everything and everyone she holds dear.

Below turbulent waves, Kai and Vivien must fight for what is right as life and love hang in the balance.

Another excellent read/listen. I have pondered this review as I neared the epilogue.

I can only shake my head in wonderment. It is like she casts a spell that opens your mind to travel through black holes much like this storyline. It is mystic, fascinating, and completely enjoyable. “Turbulent Waves” begins where “Beneath the Waves” left off, but you do not have to read the first book (but I highly recommend you do). This is another exciting book about Atlantis and the melding of different cultures and societies. The characters are strong and grow with their choices and experiences. There are protagonists and antagonists. I hope Ms Vali moves these two books from individual story lines to a series. She has a great gift which many will enjoy.

Very good book!

This was a very good story. It was even better than the first book. Perhaps there will be a third story about Callen and her sibs. The possibilities are endless. Well done!

One Long Reminiscence

If you removed all the overviews of “Beneath the Waves”, and the obligatory sex scenes that were also identical. Then, there would be roughly 4-5 chapters of sparsely detailed dialogue of the villain of this book acting identical to the villain of the first book. Ms McKinney did the best she could with the dialogue. I’m a diehard Ali Vali fan, so I’m not running away, but I’m definitely not satisfied.
