Publisher's summary

Zak Chambers' first mission as a Navy SEAL is to save the woman he loves....

Zak Chambers grows up in the shadow of a home grown hero he's always being compared to. But even heroes can be unlucky, and when the legendary SEAL sacrifices his life overseas, Zak is moved to follow in his footsteps.

His fast and furious fling in high school, Amy Dobson, is still the wild child daughter of the local chief of police, doing her best to exercise her demons by partying with half the male population of their town. Barging back into his life, they spend one stolen night together before Zak ships off for his first deployment. But will this be enough to sustain them to a happily ever after when she's targeted by a homegrown terrorist cell?

Great story!

This was the first time I had listened to an audio book. It took me a while not to be distracted by a voice. Overall I enjoyed it. J.D. Hart has a wonderful voice.
Amy and Zac were wild child on again/off again high school sweethearts. They hook up again one last time before Zac deploys for training in the Navy Seals. Zac gets a call from Amy asking for help. This story has lots of drama and sexual chemistry. I really enjoyed this book.
****I voluntarily received a copy of this audiobook for my honest review.****

Meet the newest Frog-lette...

omg, there was so much to like about this quick read in the SEAL Brotherhood series. I've enjoyed all the books in this series and Zak was no exception!
He's strong yet vulnerable with a love he just can't ignore, even when he tells himself he can't have her. She's strong willed and goes after what she wants, but also willing to turn away when Zak tells her not to wait for him. You know there's a hea, but that scene nearly broke my heart! I always want them to be happy from the start.
When trouble finds Amy, she calls Zak and he races to get to her to make sure she's truly alright. That's all it takes to rekindle the fires that never really died for either of them.
You don't want to miss this one... it will keep you laughing and cheering for the newest Frog-lette to capture the heart of his Frog Princess!

Narrators

I have one suggestion. The male characters in the book need to be read by men, and the female characters need to be read by women. Otherwise, this story was great!

Another hit

Would you consider the audio edition of True Navy Blue to be better than the print version?

The audio version is brilliant JD does a amazing job of bringing this story to life. Loved this story when I read it but then I listened to the audio version and I was blown away.
If you like Seals and amazing stories than you need to listen to this one

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene in the gym where Zak saves Amy from the blast

Any additional comments?

Sharon's seal are all amazing stories. They get even better when you add in the amazing job that JB does when they make it to audio

Gone To Soon

It was such a good story, I'm not ready for it to be over yet. I wish we could follow more of their lives.

Nice Short

Although not very long, Sharon Hamilton did a great job on this little short story. It's a nice tie-in to the Seal Brotherhood series. And don't forget Sharon donates a portion of each sale to the Wounded Warrior project.
